BigDave
It finally looks like all the oil fatcats finally made enough money by gouging us for so long..... I don't know about that, but I do find it interesting that Chavez and Ahmadinejad aren't as mouthy as they were 60 days ago. Anubis
Sure wish I could get prices like 3.30 or so.I'm still payin in the neighborhood of $6.50 here in England This is a great post to remind me of lucky we really are here in the USA. Indeed, I can't wait until my tour here is over and I can finally return to the states. Make that 2nd tour, transferred from Mildenhall to Lakenheath for back-to-back overseas assignments

Modoc
Real interesting, Gas is now down to $2.47 here in Anderson with Diesel below 3 dollars and my folks 130 miles East (Alturas) are STILL paying $4.85/gal US for it :surprise: Does it really cost $2.00 a gal. to haul it that far . I will be curious to see how much it jumps for the Thanksgiving migration
MrClean
1.99 here in Byram, MS at Kroger...... with the .10 discount, pumped it at 1.89. Brought a smile to my face for a change. HA! Ditto on us still being fortunate in this country. Last year I did a lot of travel as we are on a project that spans from Germany, to England, to Australia..... was always good to get back home, even as enjoyable as it was to visit those places..... expensiiiiiiiive fuel was, as well as other things. Today is the day we get to voice our opinion/support. VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!!!!!!!!! You can bet folks that are mooching off the system will be voting for those they think will keep supporting them. Those of us that it's a bit more inconvenient for at times have got to cast votes! SiG Lady
Petrol dropped at least $0.10/gal again yesterday... bigbrowndog
So if Exxon/Mobil made 12.9 BILLION in profit and BO wants to spread the wealth, will we be getting a check if he gets into office? Personally I'd give it up just to get M and P into office. Gas at 1.89-1.99 in San Antonio

SiG Lady
Petrol keeps falling like a lead balloon...... it's now $2.00/gal LESS than it was at its highest earlier in the year. Now THAT'S quite a reduction--and I never thought it'd happen. (But then I never thought we'd have the gall to outsource so many of our American jobs, either. Sheesh.)
