I'm fairly sure he just had the last port chopped off the factory comp and two popples added through the flats of the comp, plus the IPSC Alex double sided mount. The CZ open team uses czechmates with a variety of modifications including different comps, slide cut outs, popple holes, rackers and optics so it could just one of Eric's or another team members. The rumor was a updated checkmate in 1st quarter of 2023. really I guess that could just be the same gun with the smaller optic. we’ll see. Does anybody remember hearing about a TS2 orange coming out ? They would be fools not to build a checkmate off of the TS2 orange platform. I just have this weird feeling that the whole warranty deal might be coming to an end soon with the checkmate. I sure hope not, it’s just a gut feeling. Ts2 orange and limited do feel differently though. One is heavy on the front and grip feels larger, might be that xtremely high placed safety which I didn't like. The other is nimble and balanced.
