  1. The wife and I both use a DAA Alpha X for our Czechmates
  2. I switched to get away from the polymer trigger. The ET fit perfectly and have had zero issues. Was gonna a post a pic but can’t apparently.. says all are too big to post
  3. I run the Eemann Tech in my Czechmate
  4. I run a 10lb spring for minor and major loads… it just works, so I stay with it. Zero issues either way..,.
  5. I realize this post if over a year old… looking to do this on a TSO.. are you guys using the standard TS TRS and a regular 75 TRS together?
  6. So if you’re using published data for charge, why wouldn’t you use the “useless data” as a place to at least start? OP had no idea. Load data seems like a “useful” place to me…
  7. Looking under Western Load Data, the Berrys 124 HBFP is listed at 1.060”…
  8. I shoot True Blue in my G34. 147g ibejiheads over 4.0 True Blue@ 1.130”… SD of 5…. Pretty damn good to me..
  9. I’ve use both Silhouette and True Blue for 124/125, and 147 coated… Ibejiheads, Precision Bullets and Blue Bullets… the most meter like water and are very very consistent…
  10. I’ve read somewhere that the 124 RN bullet is the standard round in Czech. (Not sure if it’s a truthful statement) And that’s what the Czechmate and others were designed around. Most 124 RN bullets plunk with no issue… but the reason for the short throat and needing to be reamed to accept different bullet ogives….

I agree 100%. For me, the Redding die doesn’t seat any better than the Lee seating die I had.. it does make it waaaay easier to set a size after making one test round vs making a few and then having to pull them once I get my desired COAL. I did find much more consistency after removing the spring, and I keep all my dies clean anyhow.. I also see very slight more variance on coated vs plated/fmj/jhp….

One thing I did on the Redding micrometer seating die was, take out the spring. More consistent after that…

I can agree with this. I’ve mentioned before assuming the dies and press are all ok. Not being there to see the press operation doesn’t help. Maybe something is off with the auto drive, and it’s not pressing fully on every stroke?…..

Before buying anything.. try taking say 100 of any headstamp you’d like, as long as they’re the same and load those and see if the variations get better. I had a friend that used mixed brass and his stuff was all over the place. I gave him a bunch of stuff I had, all same headstamp, but fully processed minus rollsized and he loaded it up and got a variation of +/- .003” vs the .010-.015 he was off before that… worth a shot and won’t cost you a dime…

My barrels are reamed, my mags are tuned by myself. I’m right at 10k rounds thru my Czechmate. I do sort headstamp, then size and deprime my brass first on my Lee APP. I wash, case dry and load. I load CPRN to 1.163” +/- .002”. So my range is 1.161”- 1.165”. I load on a Loadmaster with Mikes Reloading Bench Billet Turret and Turret Stabilizer. I also use the Redding Micrometer Seating Die..Measure and case gauge all my rounds and I have zero ammo issues. I have a feeling your mixed brass and inconsistencies in COALs are definitely the issue…..
  16. I run the Sebo Weapons one on my Czechmate …
  17. You need to ream the barrel throat to get the longer COALs with certain bullet profiles…
  18. They seem to be sold out everywhere, but this gives you an idea.. https://targetzone.eu/bul-sas-ii-ur-open-division-bullesteros-steel-grip-52104.html
  19. I always used pro grip myself until I got some brass LOK grips for my Czechmate. I barely use it now.
