Reshoot
I dislike a whole lot of things, but I rarely use the word hate. It is such a strong, pessimistic word. Having said that, I HATE becoming a Super Senior

Sarge
Horse Hockey! You are as young as you feel! Still shooting USPSA in our old age says a lot I think!! Of course I'm just a pup compared to you. I will make Senior at the end of this year!
Hi-Power Jack
I've been a Super Senior for four years, and LOVE it when "kids" (under 55) ask me "how old are you" after a good run (yes, I still get one once in a while:)).

Hi-Power Jack
Yup, I won one of those too here in Florida couple years ago. Got a nice plaque hanging on the wall for that. And the other good thing about being a Super Senior, is that my generous supply of reloading components is now a Lifelong Supply - I think that's good anyway?? I may NEVER need to purchase any more powder, primers or bullets, ever again. Edited January 10, 2014 by Hi-Power Jack

How are you feeling? :-)
Marv Z
At the last IDPA match I shot, I was best senior and low overall match. That's showing them young whippersnappers!!! I have two years untill super senior status. I'm not going without a fight!!!!

mpolans
Given the rate at which we're living, that change in ranking may occur anytime now. True. I've seen some folks shooting IPSC/USPSA and doing fairly well into their late 60's early 70's. Wasn't Ken Tapp shooting pretty late into his years? IIRC, Col. Bill Blankenship was shooting well into his 60's (hopefully later, and he's still at it). As for other activities, I have one relative who skis despite being in her 70s. My boss's dad is pushing 90, plays golf 3-5 days a week walking the course. I've seen other older folks doing lots of relative stuff. As I keep telling people, "As long as you're breathing, you have a future." It's up to us to fill that future with good s**t. Yeh, ANY trophy is a good trophy. Shot my first match at age 59. Was too busy rapping up a career and preparing for retirement, which I did at 62. Now it's all play and no work
