JimmyZip
The topic says it all. Which do you like and prefer and why. Looking for something that will be with me on long hikes in my bag, and HD too. JZ
kneelingatlas
Feather Industries AT9: Upsides: very light, very accurate, Uzi magsDownsides: the trigger is cheesy and they're no longer made.
splitime
I LOVED my KelTec Sub2000... but it was in .40 and finding one in 9mm is practically impossible (let alone the markup due to the lack of inventory).
MarkCO
If you are going to go 9mm, might as well be this: http://tinypic.com/player.php?v=ei87e9&s=

I'm looking more off the shelf than that but whoa! Gotta love firearms engineers for pushing the envelope.
MarkCO
That is a just released configuration from Tim LeGendre, the developer of several wildcats including the .450Bushmaster. There are some Carbon Arms parts in there. . Tim has very large plans for it. Sorry for the driftage...you might consider the Thureon Defense carbines. I have shot several of them and they are very high quality.
Jaxshooter
I have a Colt and a Rock River ARs in 9mm. Both have been 100 % reliable using both Colt and converted Uzi magazines.
JimmyZip
Anything besides ARS? Or is that pretty much it? I really liked the one you suggested by Thureon. Especially since they take my Glock magazines in one configuration. Saw the KelTec too but didn't realize they can be difficult to find.
MarkCO
You could try to find a Marlin Camp 9. Take S&W mags. Nice little carbine. If want lighter consider an M1.
old506
I wish Marlin would come back with the Camp 9, this time using Glock mags........
gm iprod
Ruger PC9, no longer in production. But 100% reliable. Con RUGER MAGS, Pro works on subsonic 147gr ammo, suppressed they are excellent out to 75Metres. Rumours were around they made them with Glock mags to suit a few Police Departments. I would give someones left nut (just not mine) for one in that setup. Otherwise any AR platform that runs Spikes Tactical Mag Block and UZI mags. Next best would be one with Glock mags. herky
I've had good luck with my Mech Tech in 9mm. Fits on a Glock frame, runs fine with the 33 round big stick.
Desmo412
I got in line for the new JP GMR-13 a few months back. It uses a new lower that takes Glock mags without a magwell block. I'll let you know how it shoots in another 3-5 months when I see it
dcloudy777
I have the Kel-Tec... I love it... very light and handy, plenty accurate out to 100 yards. I did put a different front sight on it (and threaded the barrel for a suppressor, but that's another story). The trigger is "decent" at best, but it's still easy enough to make hits with. It can be had in a Glock magazine configuration, or it can be set up to use S&W, Beretta or SIG mags. It's hard to find, but an excellent little gun. I also built a 5" 9mm AR that's also super sweet... but way, way more money.
GreenDragon64
I love my Beretta CX4 Storm. Accepts either 92/M9 or PX4 magazines depending on magwell adapter. I've only been able to shoot out to 125 yards (hitting a 6" metal plate consistently), I'm hoping to try it out to 175 yards this coming weekend. pawe
Hi point 9mm carbine. Cheap but reliable...and it has parts that can make it look like a Beretta CX4 too.
toddrod
Check out the TNW ASR. Quick to break down and fits into a back pack. Uses the Glock mags to. Plenty of videos on youtube.

cajunautoxer
Have owned the HiPernt, Keltec, Beretta, and RRA. I only own the RRA bc I can practice with it instead of the 5.56 ARs.

MarkCO
Anyone know anything about these? http://www.justrightcarbines.com/JR_Carbine_Products.html When they first came out, there were a LOT of problems, including out of battery firing. Don't know if they fixed the problems, but they were enough that I would be very cautious.

Smitty79
Anyone know anything about these? http://www.justrightcarbines.com/JR_Carbine_Products.html . I have one. I enjoy it. But if I had it to do over again, I would spend the money on a 9mm AR.
