Ended up and went to the NRA convention with a shooting buddy and we found ourselves at the Smith & Wesson booth. Lo and behold we ended up in an extremely small line to meet one of the best all around shooters that is alive today. JM was a very sincere and genuine person, joked with my friend and I for a few minutes and took a picture with each of us. He said I had a familiar face then I told him I have a familiar name to go along with it, one of those gotta be there moments.

Sarge, looks like I lucked out and my loads at 1.147" will fit the mags and pass the plunk test. They also feed by hand with no stoppages.

Dang, maybe I'll end up lucky and can use a longer COAL. Thank you for sharing the data with me. Tomorrow my single stage press is getting a workout.

I haven't been able to find any load data for WSF under BBI/Bayou 135gr round nose projectiles. I have seen load data publishes for 130 and 147 projos. I have used it for the 147 LFP from Falcon and had success in accuracy and soft recoil. Reason for the switch is due to trading for a 9mm Spartan V and had to switch to round nose bullets. I greatly appreciate any help.

I have 2 Spartan Vs, one in 9 and the other is .45. I would stick with the V over the IV.

I loaded my Falcon 147gr FP at 1.150" and never had problems.

I like my illuminated Vortex, the reticle is sort of like a cross between an EOtech and a mil-dot scope.

So, do you have it yet?

Up until this last practice session I have had nothing but problems with my Spartan. Good choice in working on your SA.
