  1. 1.260 on the single stack .40 1.28XX on the stippled STI grip. You can't feel the difference in the width. Thanks
  2. Do they "feel" the same or did you measure them?
  3. http://www.derwoodmfg.com Not VZ's but nice grips and they will modify for the Techwell.
  4. https://www.zrtacticalsolutions.com I've heard good things about this shop.
  5. http://leatherheadbullets.com Free shipping from these guys.
  6. http://leatherheadbullets.com Looks like these guys are doing free shipping.
  7. I thought the ETMs were longer as well? A couple of us SSTK'ers compared some at a match a couple months ago and the Tripp was noticeably longer.
  8. Tripp! The tube is longer than any of the others making it seat easier with 8rds and the slide forward. The follower is also the shiznit.
  9. Too much crimp can also swage lead bullets resulting in accuracy issues like you described.
  10. http://www.awtllc.net Those SSTK's in the photo gallery of his website are pretty darn nice looking too!
  11. Try polishing the powder funnel and using some case lube, I like Hornady One Shot.
  12. You already have a case gauge...your barrel. Pull your barrel out and see if they pass the "plunk" test, they should drop in the chamber and spin freely, fitting flush with the hood.
  13. I believe that somewhere TGO posted that it was a new slide on an old frame that he had.

    Congrats, that is pretty awesome!
  15. The guy that used to do the welding for EGW left and is on his own now, Jim Milks: http://www.innovativecustomguns.com
  16. It isn't the coating. Different bullet profiles, different powder charges, the amount of crimp, the size of the coated bullets vs the size of the plated and FMJ bullets all these variables will influence POI. Find the bullet and powder that you like, that you CAN get a years supply of, work up a load and sight your gun in for it and forget about it.
  17. Bingo! This is one of the reasons I switched to a Hi-TEK coated bullet.
  18. This years Columbia cascade match had some of the best use of steel I have seen. In fact the entire match had some of the best technical stages, yet still very fun. The steel served as some great "speed bumps" but was never a carnival gallery. +1, that match was awesome!
  19. Keep the powder hopper at 2/3's full and use case lube. When I do this it greatly improves the consistency of my powder charges.
