  3. What didn't you like about the frame? I have heard that they are dimensionally correct but fresh out of the CNC, meaning that they they are a little rough. I have not handled one personally. I am waiting until they start making slides and plan to order a set. Curious as to your thoughts, thanks.
  4. http://www.gansguns.com Website shows he is still doing business.
  5. Have you measured the bullets? Any chance that they are undersized for your barrel?
  6. Coated all the way. They will do everything required at a fraction of the cost.
  7. Anybody making anything like this?
  8. I am curious about your thoughts on this subject as well. Could you please PM me?
  9. Hi-TEK coated bullets run through my Mr Bullet Feeder and MA collator's without issue. I don't think a different alloy will yield a 20 grain increase in weight. Those are some good looking molds.
  10. What are they weighing out at with the hollow point?
  11. Precision Bullets are swaged, I bet they are much more consistent in weight. I assume your local bullets are cast, do you know if they are using a certified alloy or are they smelting their own alloy. It has been my experience that there are greater deviations with "home" smelted alloys.
  12. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/2670460203/double-alpha-mr-bulletfeeder-dillon-powder-funnel Try one of these, it will work/form the brass less and create more of a pocket for the bullet to sit in thus preventing the bullets from tipping.

    Bayou smoke

Back off the powder charge by .5 - 1.0gr with the Bayou Bullets. That should get you the same power factor as the other 2 bullets you mentioned and may get you less smoke.
  14. Donnie is no longer the owner of Bayou Bullets. I believe he sold it to one of his former employees.
  15. I am confused did you "plunk" test them in the Glock barrel? If the Glock is the intended gun for the new load why not test them in that gun? The case gauge will let you know if they are SAMMI spec for length and OAL (provided your case gauge is set up to SAMMI spec). A lot of shooters deviate from SAMMI spec a bit in order to achieve the most reliable performance of their load in their gun.
  16. Try Black Bullets International, it appears to be a conical round nose profile (I haven't seen it anywhere else). It looks like you would be able to load to the length you want with that bullet. Before I started making my own I used BBI's; Chandler makes good stuff and provides excellent customer service, give him a call.
  17. I have not handled a PM9 but have heard good things about them. I used to own a DW CBOB (regret selling it), if the PM9 is on par with my old CBOB you won't be disappointed. I say do something nice for yourself and get a PM9. On the off chance you don't like it I bet you know someone who will buy it off you.
  18. If they are backing them up with a warranty I would not hesitate. Any chance this place has a website?
