  1. My vote is for win 231 or hp 38. There the the same powder just different jug. It's a very versatile powder that can be use for a lot of handgun calibers.
  2. I recently got a 92x centurion that I'd like to shoot in a few matchs problem is I'm haveing a hard time find a holster that I can use with a tech lock or a boss hanger. Can anyone confirm a holster that it will fit. I prefer something I can just buy like a blade tech or comptac thanks.
  3. My advice would be a use whatever style of gun you are useing now. No need to reinvent the wheel to shoot co.
  4. This! I have a range officer that has the same ILS I got a Smith and Alexander magwell that is made to the MSH and run a #19 spring also you'll need to get the cap and the pins as the Springfield ILS are Proprietary to the ILS.
  5. That very close to what I'm loading now Sport pistol 3.8gr Blue bullets 125 gr tc Oal 1.11 PF 140
  6. Like most other if cost is not a concern get a jp however for me cost is allways a factor and I went with a psa ar 9 that's i got new for $550 and after getting set up to my likeing that includes drop in trigger, techwell magwell, comp, c more railway, crimson trace cmr-206 and a taccom recoil set up I've have $1,200 in which is about half what a jp will cost
  7. I'm useing sport pistol now which is supposed to be similar to n-320. I assume the 95 gr rn your useing is a coated bullets, any problems with the coating at higher velocity? I have some 90 and 95 gr hp and fmj on order?
  8. I'm just getting into pcc and curious if anyone has experimented with lighter weight bullets mainly 115's at around 1,200fps or 90's at around 1,500 fps and how they compare to say 125's or 147's which are the 2 standard bullets weight for minor out of a handgun. I shoot uspsa and idpa so it needs to make a 135 power factor.
  9. I never pick up mach brass. To me my match is worth more than worrying about a few dollars worth of 9mm brass of course that might not be the case if I was shooting something like 38 super.
  10. I do 50 round of strong hand and 50 round of weak hand shoot every time I go to the range regardless of what drill I'm doing. For me it all about making so strong hand, weak hand in a match it's no big deal.
  11. You can color it with a black sharpie it won't match perfectly but it's close enough to me.
  12. if you'll talk to your MD most the time he will give you the used target at the end of the match.
  13. Midway, shooters connection, target barn all have them last time I got mine from midway I'd shop around tho the targets aren't expensive it's the shipping that kills you.
  14. Caps ( Coastal Area Practical Shooters) in Brunswick Georgia is having one on July 27th.
  15. Ruger has a custom shop 9mm 1911 out now the price is kinda high.. it looks like a great gun. I've handled one but never fire it so can't comment on performance.
  16. I've look at them but the cost of a stern defense set up is all most as much as a complete low end rifle. Me personally I'd rather buy a complete PSA ar9 than convert one of my ar's that way if I decide that pcc is not for me a complete rifle is a easyer sale.
  17. I prefer gen 4 glock they have a larger magazine release and the back strap option. With a 34 I dont see a advantage to buying a gen 3.
  18. Hp 38 and win 231 are the exact same powder I've used tons of it before I went to sport pistol. I still have a #8 jug of 231 in my powder reserve and will go back to it if sport pistol is unavailable.
  19. I've use the RHT and comp tac holsters both are great holster I usely get RHT if I'm not in a hurry for it (they have about a 30 day leed time) and a comp tac if I need it now.
  20. I've seen them on pre order for $900 but someone will probably buy it just to one of the frist people to have one.
  21. If and that a big if you already have a 9mm limited gun I'd say go for it. Shoot limited minor for a while see if it something you want to get more serious with and if so buy a major gun when you fell that minor is holding you back. Now if you are going to buy a gun for limited buy anything other than a .40 is just dumb.
  22. Agreed a 1911 is not that complicated after you have worked on one a few time and they Smith's at Wilson combat are not going to do anything you can't do yourself with a the help of YouTube or a good book on 1911 service.
  23. Got to love dillon customer service
