  1. I see your line of reasoning but even if you have a 2:1 alpha to Charlie ratio, with a 120 rnd match You are now 40 points down. Do you think you can make up 40 points by shooting minor?
  2. My trubore runs both 38 s and sc just fine
  3. Exactly, find the major load that works the comp best and stay there
  4. Mike is this the same issue you had at Doc Welt? I have 2 rts2’s. Both hold zero, but both have had to go back because of broken contacts. My biggest issue is not bright enough on bright sunny day
  5. 115 pd hp, 10.7 of AA7 oal 1.165 makes 173 pf in my axiom ethos, no popper holes
  6. 124 jhp pd. 10.8 n105. 38 sc
  7. i run an 8lb wolf variable, tried a 7 but had a few failure to go into battery, so back to the 8
  8. Sarge is right, gotta stop em now
  9. i zero my open gun at 25, just know that with 1.5 offset you're going to have to adjust for close targets (head shots with no shoot)
  10. my first match a ro took me aside before the safety brief and said" walk today dont run cause you aint gonna win and dont do anything stupid"...he was right
  11. practice, practice, pratice... thats the only way to get better at anything including who
  12. My home range has an “intro to action shooting class” every 2nd sat. Not required but highly recommended
  13. Lol Sarge, that’s exactly where one of my copies is
  14. My home range was built on an old landfill, they dug out an old vw , not sure if the guy was still in it
  15. by your interpretation that means if i'm shooting single stack i have to do a standing reload if i can see 5 targets from my 1st position even though i can see it at the next position, i dont think so
  16. Exactly, I’ve had the last shot brass hit the timer and add a full second, if I wasn’t watching it would have hurt their score
  17. +1, I started out squadding with Trent before I knew any better, now I do so I can pick his brain about the stage, he still almost always beats me but that gives me something to work for. lol
  18. Trent’s right, don’t get all worked up over classifiers or they will get the better of you. I shoot every week with Trent and “try” to apply his advice whenever he gives it, doesn’t always work(me not him) lol
  19. +1 to this, start out limited, you have enough to worry about just being safe your first few matches
  20. I had the same problem, went to the eye doc, had non dominant lens made for distance and dominant lens made for front sight(25”), works great, just takes a min to get used to putting them on
  21. That does not mean they can’t be on belt, that means they have to start on a barrel, if you want to pick them up and put them in your belt after cof begins, you can
  22. I have seen perfect doubles as well when running a shooter, on a target 8’ away. The rest are “c’mon that’s a double “
