  1. ^ this, i have a trubore in 38 super, 10.5 gr n105 gives me 1380 fps
  2. No, I use it for .40 major in my edge and it meters just fine in my 650
  3. not to highjack your thread but i shot the metal rod on my prochrono a few years back, called the factory to get replacement and told the nice woman on the phone" yeah some idiot shot one of the sunshade rods", she said no problem, by the way how do you spell idiot on your credit card. lol
  4. yeah, just chrono'd my trubore 9.2 gr 3n38 124 gr rocky mountain reloading mpr jhp- mpr is their new- multi purpose round 6 shots 1389fps ave-172pf was using n105 but i like the way the dot moves(less violent) with this load, your mileage may vary
  5. you need 1450 fps for a 115 gr bullet to barely make major and 1350 for a 125 gr, the manuals have to take into account maximum listed pressures, but that is also meant for every gun , not the open guns we run
  6. I've used e3 for the last 6 months for .40 major 4.3 gr 180 gr blue bullet 169 pf. Shoots really soft
  7. Just started shooting open last month a oh how right you are. lol
  8. Awesome sign, hopefully not too many of 1 or 3
  9. They should not be , but sometimes a course gets set up with a possible 180 target, last night we had a stage that as you moved forward had a low target on the right, with more targets yet to move forward on, I overran it and started to turn toward it, the brain and feet beat the arm so I didn't break 180 but everyone said I looked like a cartoon character slamming on the brakes
  10. In hole, hand timer to another ro, check mags to be sure fully loaded or seat 1 more in big stick if round count calls for it, put on liquid grip and use sweat rag to dry face and forehead ( FL in the summer). On deck , as shooter moves forward step into shooting position and walk plan one more time. at make ready, draw gun, turn on dot while taking sight picture, load Barney round, cant pistol while engaging safety ( as an ro I like the ro to see me do it, sometimes hard to see especially if it's not ambi safety), load big stick if needed, assume start position and wait for buzzer
  11. Also, I check all mags on my belt when I'm on deck just to be sure( bet you can guess why I started that routine). lol
  12. Exactly, you should always review your scores and the rules say you must be given the opportunity to do so. 9.7.1 ro must sign score sheet and then competitor must sign. This is where you confirm. At level 1 matches just ask to see the pad, no one is going to say no
  13. Exactly, get a routine and eliminate some of the problems. Then comes the buzzer. lol
  14. Yeah, even running pcc you have to hold the timer forward to pick up the shots
  15. I'm shooting super, not sc. 10.5 of n105 at 1.230 with 125 blue bullet and make 168pf
  16. I can't seem to get past the cave man drawing mode. lol
  17. I've had some ro's I don't like but I've never shot the Ro
  18. This sounds more likely that the extractor hit the primer as he let go of the slide
