  1. There are good reasons why Beven does not want people using his spring/ follower in the new tubes. There are inherent design flaws in the "redesigned" STI tubes
  2. Caspian? Otherwise maybe Bill at highercapacity?
  3. I'll take my 29 round old STI tubes that are 100% too.
  4. Match book and stages should be out next week, per Bill's FB updates. Still, a few random slots on Fri, Sat, and Sun due to shooters withdrawing. Changes every day as new people register to fill them
  5. Beven Grams, Grams Engineering
  6. No barrel holes, somewhere in the 7-8 grain area. Barrel holes, sorry, can't help you. Good luck
  7. Buy something like 10ring suggests or fix it like jcc7x7 says. Either way buying different springs and followers won't fix your problem, their suggestions will. Personally, I prefer to really fix the problem like jcc7x7 told you. Good luck.
  8. You really need to check the internal width of the tubes between the control ribs. I wish I knew the dimensions for a .40 tube to tell you. Also, where the control ribs end at the bottom of the tubes, that transition needs to be flattened out to be a smooth transition. When are getting the rattle can the follower is either tipping over because the tube is too wide or it's getting stuck right at the bottom of the control ribs because it's an abrupt transition. New guts may appear to fix your problem but are really masking the problem(s) with the tubes. Good luck
  9. Oh, that's the original sti tube design though, not the new ones
  10. Victor, I get 29 in all my bigsticks, grams internals and BP's, all fit the gauge. That's with SC, 9mm gives just a tiny bit more room
  11. Shooters connection also now carries Limited guns made by AWT. Check them out. Per SC: AWT is Donnie Fraley of the the long time known company D&J custom from back in the 80's and 90's. Donnie is back at it after spending some time in the corporate and political world. He is making many of his own parts. Donnie's history in the sport and knowledge of the guns used in the sport are rivaled by few, if any. Chuck
  12. I always recommend Gram's, he is the originator of the best aftermarket spring and followers. There is a reason his nickname is the MagMaster. Be mindful though Grams nor MBX (if those even fit in a non-MBX mag without major mods) internal will NOT fix an inherent problem in a tube, if there is one. Good luck

    Brass

If you want to get back, at a min., Most of your 9mm brass, do you mark it with something? If no, start doing that AND let your squad mates know "this brass marked like this is mine, if you are picking up brass I'd really appreciate if I could get it back" or something like that. At local matches you probably already know a large% of the shooters and they know you and most people are generally nice enough to help you out. Goes the opposite way too, if someone else marks their brass, return it to them or ask who's it is. If you are not marking your brass then it's fairgame since so many are shooting 9mm, anyone reloading it AND willing to pick it up is going to grab as much as they can. Hope this helps
  14. If geography allows work a level 2 or 3 match as an RO, you'll get a nice supply of 38sc brass to take home.
  15. Maybe look at the bright side. Possible while going through a quality inspection STI realized something was wrong with the slide so they fit a new slide to the existing frame and barrel? Just a thought
  16. Yes, go to the hardware store and get some matching nuts..?
