I would use the "standard" one piece sear over the xtreme one piece sear. Most people will recommend getting the regular stock 2 and doing the work instead of the xtreme.
What grips do you currently use on the stock 3 if you find it small in your hands? The factory grips on the shadow 2 are very slim and you'll find it feels smaller then what a stock 3 with wood grips would feel like.
They are not the same size. The newer DPP is slightly larger. Not a big deal on a mount but will need a larger cut if milling a slide. Hole alignment is the same.
I recommend the CZ Custom pads over the Springer for TS mags. The Springer pads is a bad design with the hex screw that holds the pad in place. It's a hassle to remove the base pad for cleaning and even more of a pain if that screw gets damaged which all of mine did.
I ordered an extra shadow upper from CZ Custom and it had milled for an optic for my accushadow so now I can switch between the two slides for production or carry optics.
I was able to chamber my friends 2011 ammo loaded at 1.120 using 180 xtreme RN but the round was too long for the magazine. I manually dropped it in the barrel and was able to close the slide.
I have both 9mm and 40 mags and they aren't the same even though the rounds may fit. The 9mm mag loaded with 40 would not chamber completely and when I reduced the rounds loaded, it didn't drop freely either.
Thanks! I had to raise my rear sight quite a bit as it was shooting low with the rear sight all the way down. Looks like I need a lower front as well in order to lower the rear.
