what is the factory height and width of the stock x5 sight?

I have a stock 2 xtreme and I also had my cz slide cerakoted the burnt bronze color. They are not even close in comparison. The burnt bronze cerakote color is nicer and in my opinion, looks better then the stock 2 xtreme bronze color. I ended up having my stock 2 xtreme cerakoted tunsten all around anyways,

I have not. I did test some ammo that a friend has for his sti dvc open which makes major PF but it wasn't even close with the ported barrel. It was more then 100 fps difference.

Is this having your rear sight all the way down?

Yes. It's standard to come with a ported and non ported barrel.

@kneelingatlas thanks for the info but that is just a lot of work to have a tanfo open gun. I've had the gold team just sitting in the safe as a safe queen so I was curious what others are doing with them. Perhaps I should just treat it as a steel challenge type of gun.

I've heard that it's tougher to make major PF with the barrel that has all the ported holes. Has anyone tried using the non ported barrel with any results?

I would like to compile a list of possible drills to do in an indoor range with limitations to no movement outside your own stall. I typically do Bill drills and controlled pairs. Any others that you can recommend and directions on how to do the drill? Thanks!

What recoil spring weight are you guys using with the springer tungsten guide rod?

I searched the whole box and I can't seem to find one. My screw appears stripped from the factory. The allen key that I believe that is suppose to fit it is unable to grab anything since it looks rounded.

I can't seem to find the right allen wrench to remove it? Is it an allen head or something else for the screw? My screw doesn't kinda appear to be stripped from the factory...

I'm all about a thinner front sight. My tanfo sights are .90 wide.

I'm kinda curious if anyone has a decent group at 25 yards with their stock 2 and similar load data? I'm currently using Acme 147gr FP with 3.4gr of N320 and find my groups open up a lot pass 15 yards. I've tried experimenting with different oal, crimp, and powder charges but results all similar.

From what I understand, as long as one person pays the extra $10, Dawson will list the new available size for purchase to everyone.

I'm being a picky on just wanting my rear sight being all the way down. I went from 160x90 to 150x90 and the rear still isn't all the way down. 140x90 might be my solution. Everyone has a different aim so not one size fits all.

I recently switched to 150 x 90 also and I still need to have the rear sight up about 20 clicks. I may need to pay the extra fee for dawson to make one in 140 x 90.

Not any easier.

what brand springs are you guys using?

What springs are people using and are you using the buffer? I just put 100 rounds through mine last week for the first time so no time to experiment with different springs yet.

Can someone weigh the springer and henning pads? Curious on weight to make production division weight in USPSA.
