    I'll give 12lb a try. Thanks!

    Romeo 1 brass hits

Would a lighter or heavier spring fix this?
  3. The weird part when I started this post is that #2 was the closest one but it still didn't find mine correctly. I'm pretty sure mine was stripped from the factory. I ended up just drilling it out.
  4. It makes weight in production if you use the appropriate base pads for your magazine. Not much to spare. As for carry optics, plenty of room to spare. However, I have been enjoying the lighter gun when I draw and transition.
  5. I sanded down the Patriot Defense grips a little and then silicon carbide them. That definitely gave the gun a bigger grip.
  6. This is basically what we do when we buy a Tanfo...lol. But yes, current ones are shorter and fatter beavertail.
  7. Imo, I think a factory shadow 2 with the aluminum grips has a further reach then a stock 2 with curve trigger/egd grips.
  8. I'm using 147 gr Acme FP loaded to 1.125
  9. Can you advise what optic, grips, base pads you are running?
  10. I have some for sale if anyone is interested.
  11. Have you removed it? If so, what was your process?
  12. Anyone know if it's possible to remove the added metal weight in the x5 grip and move it over to another grip module?

    Springer 140mm Pads

This is what I was hoping to hear. It sounds like either 17 or 21 round mag bodies will do 23 rounds with the correct springer base pad and grams guts.
  14. Should come with one flat and one extended.
  15. Got a pic of the part of the follower that you dremeled off?
  16. What base pads are you guys running for production or carry optics and how do you like them?

    Springer 140mm Pads

Does anyone know the difference in capacity from using a 17 round mag body with the Springer 140mm base pad and gram guts vs a 21 round mag body with the Springer 140mm base pad and gram guts? Below are the two links to the pads in question. 17 round mag - https://shop.springerprecision.com/product.sc?productId=356&categoryId=85 21 round mag - https://shop.springerprecision.com/product.sc?productId=383&categoryId=85
  18. I have both 9mm and 40 TS mags and the ones I have are not interchangeable if loaded up. It did work if I loaded just a few rounds.
  19. I own both. If you want a bigger grip on the cz, you'll need to just run larger grips. Palm swell grips help. I do agree accuracy is a moot point between the two. If you want a stock 2 to feel closer to a cz trigger, the bolo with all the works is the best option. I don't personally use a bolo as I find that also is a moot point in a match setting. I like both guns in their own way. I shot the cz last year and the tanfoglio this year. I don't believe I am better with one over the other.
  20. I am not sure why Grams doesn't have it listed on their website. I purchased the basepad and grams guts together. http://benstoegerproshop.com/henning-eaa-tanfoglio-limited-open-basepad-base-pad/
  21. I don't have any experience with the mbx mags for tanfo but I do have one factory mag with an extended henning base pad using grams spring and follower and that works flawless and fits 23 reloadable 9mm rounds.
  22. I would ignore the frame reference on small vs large frame. That is more about the size of magazines they use. Both guns are similar size depending on the choice of grips you run. I can tell you that if you struggle reaching for the double action trigger, the factory curved tanfo trigger that comes on the regular stock 2/3 is way easier to reach then compared to the cz trigger or the xtreme tanfo triggers.
