  1. They will work no problem as long as the weight has been removed, I use the Taccom bolt with a JP short stroke buffer and it runs 100%.
  2. I picked up two of these a while back while they had a sale going on, can’t wait to get my new builds finished up so I can install these. I did a ton of research and feel that this brake is going to be very effective.
  3. Silver sharpies work the best I’ve found to mark the mag bodies, I also get colored base pads from Springer and have them engraved with numbers and my initials. No way anyone’s taking mine.
  4. I’m hoping these will be available state side soon, I have no desire to grind down tap the factory part.
  5. I just switched mine out to a BCM Ambi Mod 3X3, it’s huge compared to the standard BCM I was using before. Should be real nice for unloaded starts.
  6. What do you like about the Elftmann over the CMC trigger? I swapped a 24c for the CMC and couldn’t be happier, just wondering in regards to the Elftmann.
  7. Brass Juice is the best, stopped using ss media a while ago and will never go back. Less time consuming not having to sort out the ss media.
  8. I recently switched to the JP short stroke and it’s been working very well. Ended up with 3 tungsten and 2 steel. Ammo is 124gr RMR round nose loaded to 138pf. I Use the CMC 9mm trigger and have had zero issues so far. The rifle shot very soft before but with the short stroke it has less dot movement and the split times seem to be quicker. Highly recommend it
  9. Mec-gar works well, I’ve always bought my mags from either CZ custom or gregcotte
  10. I took my bolt catch off when I built my pcc over a year ago, never have seen a need for it.
  11. I use an EXD Vertical Reticle Instrument and a plumb-line. I found this the quickest and most accurate way to get a level reticle.
  12. I’ve has no issues using the app with my iPhone 8 Plus. Had to make sure that I allowed access to the microphone on the phone. The only time the chrono/app hasn’t worked is when I forget to hit start.
  13. I’ve been using a Caldwell chrono and it’s great, used it with pistol, pcc and rifles. The app is great and it’s nice having the data on my phone if I need it. It’s been very accurate as well, whenever I chrono my rounds using another chrono at a match it’s alaays been the same velocity as my chrono. I’d highly recommend it.
  14. I’ve been using a small 1.75 horse power vacuum I found at Home Depot, had to purchase extra length vacuum hose so I could move the vacuum to the other side of my bench. In order to get better suction I use zip ties to seal up the hose and the trimmer connection. Seems to work well, last time I sized brass was about 3k rounds and it cleared all the brass shavings without issue.
  15. I’ll say as other posters have, the Viper PST 1-6 gen 2 is the best option for under 1k in my opinion. The best part is the warranty and if you need to use it like I have the scope has always been returned quickly and back in working order.
  16. Most of the cleats I’ve seen people wear are Under Armour football cleats, and while they work well on loose gravel/sandy ranges they are horrible for hard pack dirt ranges. I’ve seen several people who wear cleats fall while on harder surfaces. I’ve had great luck with Merrel Moab shoes on loose muddy ranges, when it’s dry and the surface is hard I use a trail running shoe. I recently switched to the Saucony Peregrine 8 shoes.
  17. I just run a Magpul MOE SL stock, I really like the Smoke Composites but the price is a bit out of my range, I might upgrade after tax season.
  18. I have mine zeroed at 17 yards, pretty much dead on between 12-25 yards. Most of the matches I shoot never have shots over 25 yards, the shorter shots are just a simple hold over.
  19. I got some Jessup skate tape from a local skate shop, it’s been working well so far, seems to stick very well is the frame is clean.
  20. All the scopes you have listed will do the job well, however I tend to prefer Vortex over the others. I tend to choose Vortex because of the warranty, I’ve had to use the warranty on a few occasions and I’ve always had my scope back within 2 weeks. I like knowing that if I have spent 1k+ on an optic if there is an issue with it I know it will be fixed or replaced no questions asked.
  21. My loads with Titegroup, shot out of a CZ TS 124rn jacketed 3.8gr, 1.130, 129pf 147rn plated 3.1gr, 1.125, 130pf both of these loads out of my PCC with the MBX 14.5 barrel will make 138-140pf
  22. Once I switched to a lighter recoil spring it made racking the slide way easier on unloaded starts, but I do know that I always need to apply a bit more pressure between my thumb and finger while racking the slide. I’ve seen a few people add grip tape to the sides of the slide to get more traction, seems to work well for them.
  23. I prefer running a heavier buffer if needed, but I will always choose an adjustable gas block if its an option.
  24. I would suggest replacing the factory pin and clip with the version from MOA Precision, its a spiral wound pin and you will no longer have to use the clip, makes removing the carrier latch assembly much easier and no risk of losing the clip. MOA Precision has a bunch of great parts for the Stoeger. https://moaprecisionllc.com/product/carrier-latch-pivot-pin-upgrade/
  25. This is the chart I tend to refer to help with ejection .
