  1. My current load: 2011 with KKM barrel with 2 small holes. 115 precision delta JHP 8.7 grains of HS6 CCI SRP 1.150 OAL .377 crimp/de bell ran 169PF at area 6.
  2. Did you get the 1/2" spacers? I'm usually pretty sensitive to banging my thumb on holsters and I never had that problem with the boss.
  3. Yea, it's pretty crazy. Totally doable if you have a smoking draw, unfortunately I do not
  4. Sent an email, but I'll ask here too. Are there any any spots left for all day Saturday?
  5. Sordins, and don't bother buying them if you won't get the gel cups.
  6. I just put a lone star innovations comp on my gun and it's incredible. I LOVE it. Much better than the one I had on it.
  7. I couldnt imagine choosing a stock STI over a gun like a CK. Please buy the CK lol
  8. gun broker had some new PT framed open guns for $2400 that look sweet. Budget and .38s/sc is a bad idea. I shoot 9major and have had zero issues with loading, shooting,or finding free brass once I figured out what my gun liked (OAL). Dont so .38. I also bought ised off here for a killer price and have zero regrets
  9. I dont have to change anything, it runs on both. YMMV. It's a 2011... your gonna tinker with it regardless of what model you get and ammo you shoot. Get the ones that checks the most boxes. Me, not a chance I'd buy a minor only gun. i like the trubor over the MM. little longer barrel when I went open I bought used from here.
  10. It works, not as good as major but it works.
  11. FWIW: i shoot 9major out of a STI open gun. 90% of the matches I shoot are outdoors but I do shoot a match on Thursdays indoors and run minor (130PF production loads) due to the noise. I change absolutely nothing except my zero for major and minor. The new STI's generally come with a recoil master recoil system and its not exactly favorable. Either pistol bought new will likely need a guide rod and a 7-9lbs spring. I would vote vote for a regular open gun meant to shoot major for two reason: resale. A lot smaller market for the minor only guns. If you ever ever want to go major you can! EDIT!!! Dang you necro post... now I look like the bad guy lol
  12. Wow, that's pretty light! I was thinking I'd need to stay around 19
  13. Gonna do some testing this coming weekend but trying to get an idea of what y'all use. I am running an open STI 9major with a extreme engineering lite speed 2 hammer. Imdomt know what soring is in my gun but I do know that sucker is hheeeeaaaavvvvyy.
  14. I could agrree with this as well. I have the same complexion as properly cooked shrimp.
  15. .379 is on the loose side for range brass and .355's. Measure some bullets, measure some case thicknesses, and then adjust accordingly.
  16. You don't *think* they are hitting the rifling and you adjusted your taper crimp a considerable amount but didn't bother to measure? Imcould be way off, but reading your posts I am not surprised you have issues.
  17. This is some really cool data! I'd like to get me a ransom rest.
  18. I'm using 8.7 grains of HS6 at 1.150 115gr PDJHP with 2 small barrel holes and it is nice. Dirty, but nice.
  19. Well, I think you definitely turned out better than we all thought you would haha
  20. If I were you: buy sig 320, have slide milled for DPP and trigger job done (very short crips 2.5lbs trigger). Buy base pads to make them 140mm. Buy shooters connection or DAA belt, stoeger BOSS, ghost 360 or racer pouches, blade tech shell. Proceed to hosing.
  21. I cant find any info on this. Care to share more?
  22. 1. Sounds like you don't dry fire. You should. 2. Slide ride sucks compared to frame mounted 3. Get a DPP or RTS2 and it will be low 4. That comp probably sucks balls. 5. Not reloading is a big issue 6. Sounds like carrry optics is yoir best bet.
  23. White non Latino people make up 62% of the people in America. African American people make up 12%. There are 326,000,000 people in America. So roighly 202,000,000 white people, roughly 39,120,000 black people.. USPSA has roughly 25,000 members. Obviously we can't track the non member stats.. so out of 326,000,000 only 25,000 of them shoot USPSA. i think a pistol competitor is already rare regardless of color. Why does it matter. This is the dumbest topic ive ever seen.
  24. Makes me wonder why mines different. I'd rather shoot it with no comp if the muzzle didn't come up so much.
