Are any of the top shooters using sight trackers?

Is it normal for level 3 matches (and others) to recognize class winners? As in of you won all of M class, not just M limited.

@af220wa why is is there such a dramatic difference between the first shot and last? It looks like the first run of 115 grain bullets got slower as you shot and the second run they got faster? Whats the deal

I've never touched my lands, and I've loaded very long. Short story is my gun has a weird stroke and only likes the stubbies.

Barrel is a .355 KKM

Got a LSI comp and 2 people's. I apparently have a very slow barrel, 8.7g of HS6 at 1.140 was only 169pf at area 6.

Like the title says, my gun likes short ammo and I'm loading up some test batches to hopefully run over the chrono this weekend. At 1.140 with a 115 JHP from precision delta the 8.9 powder charge is compressed for sure. The 8.7 appears to be just touching if my math is correct. What say you

I agree too. Either they knew the steel fell and didn't care to act like he was gonna possible come back and get it, or they never saw it.

I did the last time, lasted a lot longer but alas, it's loose.

I use 680 which is supposed to be the strongest and it still comes loose gonna have to use my set screws.

I also clean and prep the threads and then put the gun together and then apply the chemicals so I can clock it quickly.

Sir, I would never feed such a fine machine cheap powder! I have spared no expense! At $20 a pound HS6 is a king among men! Lol it it is pretty cheap and dirty.

Good to hear. Im hoping it's just from slow powder, maybe a little still lingering when it unlocks. Using HS6

Noticed the back of my actual optic and the glass on the backside is getting pretty dirty with soot/carbon. Is this normal? 2011 platform cheely mount DPP optic. Thinking of of switching to the Everglades mount to help get it back more, should I be worried about a early unlocking?

We drove all the way from Alabama, and we loved it. Stages where very challenging and fun, food was great, we never waited or had someone else wait on us to shoot, the shuttles where awesome. 15 stages in one day! We even left the range at 6!

The swaging backup die hits the cases ledge that have the stepped case and stope the press, i back up just a touch and throw the offending piece of brass away and continue on loaded. When loading for majors I also look info every case as it rotates out of the feeder arm just as a back up in case the backup die misses one (which I don't think it ever has). I had one seperate at a match, I feel your pain.

I run LSI with 2 holes. Works MUCH better than the akai comp I had.

I think my gun was a bit of an oddball and the stroke was weird. Never had a lot of FTEctract issues. I had a few, then bought new springs for the aftec and it's ran great since.

Mine had a lot of issues going into battery. It would hang up occasionally and always felt like it chugged a round in rather than a smooth feed. I was loading long because everybody says too. I now load at 1.150 and all my issues are gone and it cycles so smooth you can't tell it it's dry or picking up a round.

I think he said R-P. I'd contribute the weird look to the fact that it blew out and had quite the fire on the outside of the case. I agree woth others, even though you have a super slow barrel 7.5 is a lot of WAC. I'd look for a better powder, but that's just me I'm shooting HS6 with a LSI comp and 2 holes and I like it a lot.
