  1. Some I shoot with only use srp in open. Claim it adds some fps. I tested it and found no benefit. But if that is all I could get, I'd use it.
  2. The 17rnd fit the gauge with TTI pads. You just might have to tap/flatten the wings down a little. I get 23 with grams followers and TTI springs. I could not get the grams springs to work.
  3. I would much rather have CO with 10rnds. Even 15.
  4. Pretty much the same as above. I had 3 legions and now have 3 Max's. The trigger is the same that comes in a legion. Pretty much the only difference is the slide. I reshaped and added to the top of the backstrap like a cz grip, removed the ledge at the beaver tail and shortened it. Opened up the magwell, cut off left side slide stop, GG trigger kit, keres trigger, tungsten gr, Springer mag release. Pretty much about it.
  5. Try loosening the shell plate nut. It fixed all my issues, one of them being the same as you. I used to tighten my Evo hand tight and it worked great. Tried the same with the Apex. Would not run. I now tighten finger tight and it runs.
  6. Not a fan of heavy bullets, some like it. Feels sluggish to me. Only shoot 124's. Tried 148/135's.
  7. The Max uses the Romeo 3 XL/Max footprint.
  8. Not at all. It is tight. https://rangepanda.com/collections/misc-products/products/mr-bullet-feeder-pipe-mount
  9. I have 6 XL's and have been very happy. Only issue is the buttons suck. Have sent a few back for warranty. But would not trade it for any other optic at the moment.
  10. Happened to me at a L2 match. It was windy and had a big gust of wind right as I shot it. Shooting major and hit it in the middle. And it could not be seen again once you left the position. I called my shot and left. And of course it was up.

    AXG Grip?

I did similar tests. Also changed recoil spring weights. Little difference with guide rods(stl/tungsten), but what I did notice with the tungsten guide rod much smoother when shooting on the move. For me at least. Wife preferred tungsten over steel.

    AXG Grip?

Try without the SSI plug. Use the stock one. I hated what it did to my gun. I also tried it in my wife's without telling her. Not only could you see the difference, she said her gun/dot was so different and all over the place but she could not explain why. I told her on the way homer after the match. I was in the dog house for a while.
  13. Been using them for over a year with a tungsten gr and 12# spring in 3 guns. However recently switched to a 13# spring.
  14. You can take a lot off the backstrap. Here is a pic of my wife's gun compared to one of mine that I added to the backstrap.
  15. You have to back it out enough to clear.

    X5 Legion

Prob had a GG or factory trigger. The travel sucks. With a Keres or AC trigger it gets much better.
