If you don't have the patience for varget get imr8202xbr, that meeters perfect in the Hornady measure. I'll take the rest of that opened varget if you don't want it.

If you're thinking about shooting limited division read appendix D2 line 4 and 5, should probably read the whole book too like everyone should.

I've read alot about the tungsten ones breaking and not to use it. I use the EGW stainless one, I doubt a few tenths of an ounce will really make you a better shooter.

Have you or anyone else here figured out why this gun is like this? I was just pulling my hair out thinking I did something wrong putting a new ignition kit in.

Jerryz, I'm not sure if you are also aware that FM is brass coating STEEL cases. It looks like brass and feels like brass but underneath it's steel. Part of my brass prep process is to dump all the brass out on a towel and go over it with a big magnet. Almost every batch has at least one that sticks to the magnet.

What power are you using?

Is the EGW drop in on a Springfield Range Officer or is there filing, grinding and stonin to be done?

It kinda pisses me off that they will go through all the trouble of writing rules but won't print a rule book like the handgun one. I'm not going to print all that out, put wheels on it and pull it around with me at the range. I would love to use this rule set at my matches this season but if they won't publish them properly I will just stick to the much shorter FN rules.

You have to take your dremmel and the little tab on the follower that engages the slide stop has to be cut off. It will no longer lock the slide back and every round will chamber and fire. It's almost impossible to have these guns reliably lock the slide open on an empty mag. There is a bunch of videos on YouTube on how to grind off the tab but it's really pretty easy.

Did you cut the follower so it can't lock back?
