  1. Does the SVI grip come with the Triglide trigger? If not, is it worth ordering at additional cost along with other ignition parts?
  2. 8000 rounds through an HP Eagle without any hiccups
  3. Any experience with a Blade-Tech holster and a PT steel grip? Will it fit the STI/SVI model holster?
  4. I would be impressed in 100 rounds in 5 min on a 550. +1. I am pretty quick on my 550. I can do 100 rounds in 8 minutes if everything is perfect, no stoppages. I still confirm powder in every case via a mirror. 5 minutes is really fast and probably beyond the capabilities of most reloaders

  7. No, if WC cared about IDPA and the tradition of the design, they would make normal pistols with bushings like John Browning, Colt Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co. Inc., and the US Army meant them to have. They do. JMB would approve of my CQB Elite
  8. I read Stoeger's book over the weekend. This is his recommendation
  9. There are WC buyers who are dismayed to find that Bill's Game does not allow their superdeluxe bull and flange barrel guns either.I have not seen enough Wilsons at an IDPA match to fill out a squad at any local or State match, barely enough for a squad at the Nationals. Not much of a market to protect. Agreed. If WC cared that much about IDPA they would allow bull/flanged barrels
  10. I will use whatever is available. CCI are said to be harder than the others. I have not had issues with light strikes with my 1911 or 2011. Different story with GLOCK34 and a light striker spring
  11. Pro: heavier than steel Con: potentially not as durable. Not IDPA legal
  12. I have a G34 with: Jager guiderod with GEN 3 adapter Dawson rear adjustable sight and FO front Vanek Classic trigger kit 13# recoil spring
  13. Nice!! Does the Infinity grip change the balance of the gun significantly
  14. Another option is the RCBS lockout die. As you know, it will stop the press from advancing. No auditory input needed.
  15. I was not trying to offend, simply making a suggestion. I am well aware of hearing impaired shooters/reloaders
  16. I am done with plated bullets. Hi-Tek coated lead for practice, jacketed for matches
  17. Correct. Gen4 with no backstrap is smaller than the gen3 grip
  18. The name will always be production optics in my heart . as soon as they come to their senses and remove the stupid weight restriction I'm right there with you .... and it should be called plastic carry optics anyway ... I will refer to it as Gloptics
  19. Hey Balakay, thx for the heads up! so far I am very impressed and I was only on the site for a minute. My pleasure. When I first started reloading, I seriously overpaid for my first round of components because I wanted to get started quickly. I then had the luxury to wait for better prices and stock up. If you do the math, even if you overpay ~$10/pound of powder, the price per round differential is really not that much. A lot cheaper than factory ammo prices
  20. Shooters with smaller hands may prefer the Gen4 due to the interchangeable backstrap system. I prefer the Gen 3 recoil assembly. You can get an adapter to use Gen 3 recoil system with a Gen4
  21. reloadingunlimited .com has what you need. Prices tend to be inflated but they have them in stock. H335 8# $180 Bullseye 8# $180 cci 450 $36/1000 put your order in for the rl550!
  22. This week, we received one of the worst possible phone calls. My father-in-law was found dead in his home. Fortunately, he kept meticulous records. We have a key to his safety deposit box at the bank. In the box were detailed financial records and the combination to the hidden gunsafe. This is the reason for this post. Many of us likely have more guns than our spouses are aware of. I am not even sure that my wife knows the combination to the gun safe. Unfortunately, this has to change. In the event of my card being punched prematurely, I don't want her to have to hire a locksmith to drill open the safe and have no idea of the values. I am making a detailed list of all of my valuable possessions including firearms and providing this info to some close friends. I will also include this info in the safety deposit box. You hate to have to think about these things but I am grateful that my F-I-L planned well.
  23. We had a similar occurrence at a recent local match. Scored as a hit to the target underneath. Whether right or wrong, the SO treated the non-scoring area of the front targets like target sticks in 9.1.7--- 9.1.7 Target sticks are neither Hard Cover nor Soft Cover. Shots which have passed wholly or partially through target sticks and which hit a paper or metal target will count for score or penalty, as the case may be.
  24. I have these sights on a Glock34.. Rock solid without issues
