Competition TUNED REVOLVERS need a steady diet of FEDERAL primers.(lightened trigger pulls).

The reason for the VV N320 shortage along with other VV powders was because the French owners had decided to sell the plant and the supply pipeline was completely emptied out (warehouses too). The French were no longer interested in THE SMALL SPORTSMEN MARKET for powders. Eventually the plant was sold to Nammo, (Lapua) parent co. Production restarted and plant improvements were being made. It takes a bit of time to refill a supply chain. Hopefully we're going to be good for a time being but it pays to keep your stocks up because one never knows just what political winds may bring.

Some of us shoot REVOLVERS "DOUBLE ACTION ONLY" and they have light (TUNED) trigger pull actions. Light pressure to the pull trigger in double action and very smooth. I have a custom built revolver that's that's just great to shoot double action rapid fire. These are NOT for self or home defense, but they could be. My revolver only fires with FEDERAL PRIMERS (they are softer and go off with lighter strikes).

I agree with lowering the toolhead to engage the alignment pins BEFORE TIGHTENING the toolhead bolt. I believe the producer of the video just wanted to go fast and smooth in the video. I've heard some first time disassembly requires a real bit of force to loosen the bolt.

The Disassembly/Reassembly is very well done, and handy to refer to.

I have 2 larger clear ANTI-STATIC mats over the carpet I keep a well marked SCRAP POWDER canister and funnel for powder spills on the bench or press, swept up with a brush and a pan. I also have a photogs squeeze dust bulb (forerunner to canned air) to keep everything cleaned up.

I saw the ad in the American Rifleman for American Eagle coated projectiles. More and more folks are jumping onto the COATED PROJECTILE BAND WAGON. I've been using HI-TEK coated for handguns for about 4 years, no complaints.

I keep the bottom of mine taped with DUCT TAPE as a safety from coming loose.

Yeti makes some good comments. ^^^^^^^^^^^ I have been using HI-TEK coated both commercially and self coated for a few years. There was a learning period as the mixture and catalysts have been changed over the years (FOR THE BETTER). I have used various manufacturers but currently have settled on ACME BULLETS. Others in my gun club have started reloading with HI-TEK coated projectiles after I exposed them to them. They like their results with them. I HAVE NO SMELL FROM ACME BULLETS AND I SHOOT INDOORS WEEKLY WITH THEM. (9mm, 38 spec, 45acp)

Major ELECTIONS effect the components supply. Keep your requirements IN STOCK at all times, and a couple years worth if at all possible. You'll sleep better. You mostly have to look online for many things Be vigilant with your searches. .

The BOLT HEAD on mine is 15/16" (..937) actually is .932 on mine , 1050 purchased 2015. ACROSS THE FLATS OF HEX BOLT. Purchased a 1/2" ratchet & 15/16" socket (KOBOLT) for mine at LOWE'S.

I have the casefeeder from my 1050 on my 650 currently.

An inlineFabrication.com "ERGO ROLLER HANDLE" is an improvement. It allows LESS DIPPING of your body on the down stroke.
