  1. I have the Uniquetek micrometers for 9mm and .40 on my Dillon 550B. They work as advertised. After the initial calibration, I can create a graph/spreadsheet that will tell me, to a high degree of accuracy, what to set for a new powder charge. When I change toolheads, I always verify that the charge is correct. It has never deviated from the prior setting.
  2. N310, n340 and n350 (4#) still available. I scored 16# of n320 earlier
  3. It is a Springfield Range Officer (5in) that has had significant work done at the SACS
  4. Today was my first classifier. I committed the cardinal sin of altering perfectly good equipment just before a match. I ha notice that the round count on my recoil spring was around 5500. I thought that it would be wise to replace it and hopefully avoid any issues. I put in a new 9# variable spring. Evidently, my 9mm 1911 and load of choice prefers a standard recoil spring. I must have had 20 FTRTBs. During the match, I thought that I had a magazine problem but when it became obvious that all the mags were not problematic, the recoil spring became the prime suspect. All the malfunction clearing pushed me out of the Sharpshooter range. I will not be making this mistake again.
  5. Thank you for the info
  6. Part of the confusion was that neither the shooter or the SO noticed and the targets were scored and pasted. It was another shooter on the squad who pointed it out after the next shooter was at the line
  7. Local match, first stage is a standards stage. We just go through the walk through when and are told explicitly to start facing uprange, turn then draw. First shooter gets up and shoots the stage after starting down range. After rechecking the stage description, the SO gave him (his buddy) a reshoot). The squad had a split opinion on PE or not. I would have let it slide, tell shooter to pay attention to the stage brief and give a reshoot as this is just a local match but the SO subsequently became quite the stickler for (perceived) cover calls. Clearly he didn't subscribe to the "it's a local match" attitude. What is your verdict?
  8. After practicing without any direction, I finally decided to get serious about training and started doing Mike Seeklander's competition handgun training. My question is about the stepping draw and pivoting draw drills. Am I really supposed to draw 30+ repetitions towards each number of the imaginary clock ? That is over 720 draws for 2 drills!!! Between the reps and resetting the par times, it took me over an hour to get through these. Comments/suggestions?? I am dedicated but this seems a bit long.
  9. I saw this data on the Hodgdon website. I have already contacted them for verification but I have not heard back yet. Unlikely to make Minor but I am curious. Anyone using such a low powder charge?? 2.8 Titegroup (Max 3.2) 125 Hornady HAP 1.069" COL
