  1. Buy spare powder bars and just swap them out. Easier than turning a knob.
  2. We have a min barrel length of 120mm for semi autos down here.
  3. Is the spring and switch sitting so there is no pressure on the dropper tube?
  4. There is no reason why you couldn't shoot minor 38 super for steel either.
  5. .40 in Vic. Are you coming down for the state titles?
  6. DAA sent me a new one. It was older than yours though. The replacement looks exactly the same.
  7. Another win today. http://youtu.be/NcQUUq4CVgQ?list=UUZs8cun0Zb1iBrs8uRFHk8w
  8. I loaded 3500 rounds on my 650 this afternoon. The only regret I have is not getting a 1050 to speed things up a bit and to swage 9mm. I junked a lot of primers today.
  9. On the weekend I discovered my tac sol kit fits under my Cmore on the trubor if I take the sight rib off. The POI is 2 inches higher at 15 yards. Probably good enough to shoot a match without resighting.
  10. I can load 100 rounds in 5 minutes going easy with a bullet feeder. Previously likely double. How long does it take you pull the handle and seat a bullet vs just pulling the handle. Do it 10 times and multiply by the amount you would reload in a session to compare.
  11. Did this guy not have any friends?!? If I'd have noticed I would've said something and then started with the jokes! Right??? I feel like as an RO I would have to ask, "So you planning on shooting this all with the force or what?" It was the first stage of the day. I don't think anyone was awake enough to notice. I accidentally filmed it (i was the shooter before him and left my camera on) and didn't know why he stopped until after. Quite funny when it isn't you.
  12. Nice. A local gm last year did it with no mags. Unloaded start and didn't notice until the beep. 145 points down on the first stage of a 2 day match.
  13. Ipsc is 9 rounds per view which makes minor an easier choice than uspsa with 8 per view. Most shoot minor where I'm from. The ones that shoot major often get punished with a static reload a few times in a match.
  14. Yeah mate. It has been fine. I've only fired a couple cases once though. Looking at the website they have different suppliers selling different calibers so 38 special and long colt might not be starline. I think the 9mm stuff said it was PPU when I read it a few weeks back. I suspect Cleavers buys it from Praetorian loose in drums. The savings would be in the packaging that isn't needed I guess.
  15. There was a couple a few days ago.
  16. I have this problem. In the last 18 months I've gone from classic -> production -> standard -> classic and started shooting open a few months back. Have the opportunity to make a classic state team for our nationals but don't know if I'm ready to put the open gun away for 6 months.
  17. Nice. Here is my Trojan in 38 super for IPSC classic division.
  18. Put the pin in a drill and hold sandpaper around it.
  19. I'd go with bamboo. If the slide is nearly home the case should be under the extractor just fine.
  20. Put a 9 or lighter pound spring in it before starting a new load if you don't need to make major. I shoot the ammo I normally shoot in my Trojan with the light spring. My cases go forward shooting minor with the 12lb spring too. Most times the case will stovepipe though. I'd rather spend $7 than change my press around. The extra weight of the comp also means everything is slower to unlock so you will need a lighter spring than in your other guns so it will cycle.
  21. Your right, mine has milled section on the rear.
