Tripps are good as are chip Mccormick. Tripps have a longer body so are a bit easier to seat. Chip sells $4 extended basepads to use with big mag wells.

I liked this button on my single stack but it's no good for a 2011 for me. I always seem to eject the mag when shooting.

If I wanted to "play" I'd shoot my WO gun in open. Otherwise I'd buy a gun that suited a division.

014 for a 1911/2011 is not even close. I prefer it but went with the race master for my 627.

Had the Fibre optic fall out. 2 used stis had dud extractors. Probably the reason they were being sold. Cheap and easy to fix with an aftec.

Hardly anyone shoots glocks here in Australia for IPSC. We don't have USPSA. Shadows would be the most popular still but tanfoglios are common. The stock 2 extreme is the new best thing. At twice the price of a shadow it's STI money.

What is the best way too clean the diode? Mine is dull top composted to another c more I have.

Magnetic if you have a curved trigger guard like a 1911.

Take some tension off the left sear spring leg. Buy a spare sear spring if you are worried and do it to that. Takes 2 minutes and will do the job if my new lawman is anything to go by.

I have a 5.11 12 that I use for everything. 3 guns and ammo for each is pushing it but 2 is fine. It's got 1 extra pouch on each side plus one on the rear. It doesn't look good anymore but it works well. 200 rounds of ammo in rear pouch. Muffs in one side pouch. Glasses, spare muffs and rags in the other pouch. Cleaning kit where the bladder would go and nearly the entire internal space is empty for the spare gun and mags. The other pockets keep screw drivers, pro grip, oil, springs and other crap organised well. I'd like a similar backpack with built in side pockets like it has but can't find one.

My 1050 takes up less space then my 650 with a strong Mount did.

1050 with a bullet feeder is lots faster than a 650 with a bullet feeder. I've had both. 5 minutes for 100 with the 650. 3 minutes with the 1050. Nobody regrets spending more with dillon.

Have you tightened the shell plate enough? Tighten it all the way down then loosen the lock ring 1/8th. You are not supposed to be able to feel play if you push down on the plate under the seating die. If that doesn't stop the play then the backup rod in the swager might need to go down further. Good luck. I chased my tail for a while too.
