I was an IPSC RO for a number of years...truth to be told, I was calmer, understood the competition, and in some cases, got to see a few differing stage approaches....but in the end, I almost always shot worse during that match...

Thoroughly agree with the, "open is more fun" comments.......is why am selling 2 CO pistols...appreciate the division, but its just not my cut. I find moving from open with a stable platform to CO with different pistol balance dynamics and dot chase difficult...but thats likely my patience and eyesight.....

I am an IPSC shooter from Canada, getting back into the sport in the south (GA) and going to stick to the single stack...biggest "real" difference for me to accommodate for what the pistol position (front strap over top of belt) and no magnet on rig. All else was a rule check and application...

Now this I need to look up! Olympic Arms creating ready to go, out of the box USPSA models?

No shock buffs. 13 pound progressive spring (preloads at I believe 10lbs but end loads and recoils at 13 but likely someone will correct me on that).

Heard STI was discontinuing all of its single stack line other than the DVC series,...anyone else hear this? Came from the Canadian distributor via heresay...

I ran a 14 in my 45 STI.

I have been using a variety of Rudy’s for years with no complaints.

Sound reasoning... I will look at grabbing an EGW. I have a Deltapoint PRO on an STI 38SC I am selling and may just rob it for a bit. But I started another thread about dot weights as I am already pushing the limit with the S2.

Just wondering if anyone can point me to a list where there are comparisons in sight weights, ie, for CO use (DP Pro, Vortex, RTS2, etc)? I have a heavy pistol and need to keep weight down.....thanks.

I built 2 identical Stock 2's about a year and a half ago, with new Xtreme parts. Sold both a year ago...was going to stick to Single Stack. Well, eyesight and other issues lead me back to a dot. Open or CO. I was considering a CZ or Stock 3, when one the owners whom purchased my Stock 2 that I built reached out and ended up selling it back to me! Great! Now I really don't want to start cutting the slide, as I wish to keep for dual Production division use along with the CO. I believe all large frames can universally fit large frame slides......just need to find one. Anybody know where these are to be found? Preferrably at a custom shop/smith whom could perform some additional machining?

Possible to remove unused safeties (ie for CZ or Tanfo) when starting DA with hammer down? They are redundant but it is a specific rule violation to remove them and replace with a roll pin?

Hopefully REALLY soon.......really want to run my S2 at FLA Open in CO.........

Not going to get to Shot this year, but will keep an eye out to see what comes of this......in the meantime, still thinking on getting a Stock 3 Xtreme top end to work with CO as well.....

Yes, any? Deliberating in a purchase of a Stock 2 or 3 ....owned and built up both, but the CO requirements have me leary on the S3.

This would solve my recent question on seeing whether I can do a drop in slide swap. One slide fits all would be perfect. So no USPSA Production issues? IPSC?

Looking at a CZC set up for Production and CO. Typically, these slides drop in or does a lot of work (aka 1911) have to be done (ie filed and cut) to get another slide fit? Want 2 slides that I can simply swap.
