I have those...and they are not 170's...looking for 10mm (40 long capable) 170's.

Out of curiousity, are these made and by whom? I was wondering if I could, if the problem present, use my single stack 40 as a back up to my 2011 should the need arise.

Have a batch I received a few months ago...will test with my Tripp 1911 (have a 40 and 9mm top end) tomorrow.

Are there any differences other than those grip and trigger guard profiles? Meaning internal structure/parts/etc? And if so, positives vs negatives?

Looks great. I had my Stock 2 down in weight to meet CO requirements...should have kept it. This gives me another reason to venture back to the dark side optics....

I run one of Virgil Tripp's new 1911's as my main competition piece. A 9mm and a 40 top end. BUT, for my backup, I picked up a RI in 9mm. I replaced barrel bushing, added a tungsten GR, SV AL non pivot Grip safety, DP ICE magwell, Ed Brown Extended mag rls, and VZ grips. Gave it a trigger job to 2.5lbs and added grip tape to front strap. All in a little over $1k but it runs perfectly. Would not hesitate to run as a main gun (actually its for sale as well as moving to Open next year)...

Thanks...wonder whom has one in stock in the Atlanta area. I see on CZ's website they still list the old SKU? Likely they have not updated it, but it looks like the old front/back strap.

What is the most recent version of the CM? SKU 91174 (this is TSO)?

Ah, got it. Your design is AL vs the CZ SS, get that. AL is general rule of thumb 40% the weight of carbon steel or less.

I believe the CMate does not have popples so are there any performance gains with the multi MEGA comp you are running @kneelingatlas

And comp that is... I used to run Infinity IMM's a number of years back. I am looking to see whether I get back in the IMM wait line, Atlas liine, or move to a hinge trigger again. I started my IPSC shooting in Canada with an SP01 Shadow and Tanfo Limited Customs. I love the ergo...so contemplating it for an open run vs a 12 month wait.

Thanks...well, of course the ammo would be a tad important...but was wondering in terms of the ignition system, mag tweaks, etc. Coming from extensive 1911/2011 experience and the CZ platform is a little new (I built a few Tanfo xtremes with Grauffels parts but the Stock 2's were drop in).

I am looking at a few options in getting back into Open IPSC/USPSA. I am looking at the Czechmate and Parrot as options. Couple questions that I hope members here can help.... 1) Parrot vs standard Czechmate...not a fan on the bling look of the Parrot, but performance wise, is it worth the premium? 2) IF I were to buy a Czechmate, and have another $800 or so to spend on it, what should/could I replace to increase performance? Eric had ammo made for me at EuroExtreme in CZ a few years ago...was running a 38SC SV. I put in my make up and OAL. Problem was, it was 38 Super. I pulled the front spring off my Aftec and it ran fine.

Yes, actually now a tad more keen to simply test. I am going to drop to 7lbs on my 38SC and run a buff vs the 8lb without and see what the recoil does. I don’t mind the snap of the gun, I am just more concerned with recoil being flatter while not introducing some thing that could just go wrong at the wrong time.

Mine will be installed this week. Getting ready for GA state in a few weeks.

This.... i had an SV built with both top ends (went through divorce,..sold...yadda yadda regrets), but the 38 is flatter. Period.

I am running 8lb on my 38 SC. Benefits in dot control running a shockbuff and 7lb?

Who makes mounts for it to ride on an STI?

I have been from the early batches of the RTS2 (and the issues) to DPP, Romeo,...now that I am back in the game again, going to run a latest batch of the RTS2 shortly.
