5 Months between nationals? A new meaning to back to back nationals

I know that. I was pointing out that you would be penalized by the extra time for your shots. With VC you can be penalized 3 ways for on trigger press. Extra time, extra shot, extra hit. I don't see the point. I am not a fan of the multi string stages. We try to avoid them when the weather gets bad.

If you can shoot 6 shots faster then 5 go for it. Otherwise you just ate some time.

I am not a fan. I hate leaving a called miss on a target.

What would a life time warranty cover? Trigger job, cracked slide, shot out barrel? If you really shoot you are going to wear stuff out. I just cracked the comp on an SVI I bet I get a call for my CC number after they replace it.

I have the springer on there now. Its ok it seems durable. I do wish it was a little more aggressive. A zone gear said they would cut some for me. The tape for a PT grip would work if you trimmed it up a bit.

I have one. Its awesome. I installed the tape and have not had any issues at all. I am not a fan of the super aggressive texture some folks mill into their grips these rock.

My buddy looked them up I guess my thinking was wrong 4.3.1.8 Metal no-shoot targets which are designed to fall when hit, but which fail to fall or overturn when struck by a full or partial diameter hit, shall incur the penalty or penalties in accordance with Rule 9.4.3. Failure to fall is not grounds for a reshoot per range equipment failure. 4.3.1.9 Metal no-shoots targets must, if hit, be repainted after each competitor ends their attempt at the course of fire, failing which subsequent competitors must not be penalized for hits visible on their surface.

I will have to look at the rules. Once the no shoot steel falls it changes the course of fire.

II would say if you hit the no shoot plate and it fell you would get a re shoot for REF. Sure you picked up a penalty for the first hit but you had an advantage for the second shot or more once the scoring rack started to move again. They needed to be repainted between shooters like a paper no shoot

I would think you would have to leave enough plate exposed to actually hit it. I don't mind a stage that challenges the shooter but I hate it when its more like punishing the shooter.

I did not replace the yet. I am still waiting for the refund, they have stopped answering my emails.
