    built this for steel & 3 gun. tried it in major and it was very unpleasant to shoot. dot movement was a huge issue.

    Stops the rounds from rolling off follower on the bottom where there is no indents on the mags.

    the hornady is awesome if yer pulling fmj or good plated bullets. lead, not so much.

    also, be careful that the index pawl is facing the right way, or it will not index. that little part can come out or turn easily when changing shell plates.

    have run a 16" lightweight JP barrel for last 2 years. going to build one in ultralight now. don't worry about the thermal junk. it's a JP barrel, it will flat out shoot.
