  1. Paying for machine time and grams of weight saved... And some of them are impregnated with awesome.
  2. Reviving an old one here too... Why not try some the 80-90gr bullets that are coming out for the Valkyrie, etc.?
  3. I've had a few of the Arredondos, and they have not ever failed me. I even whittled the top corners down on a couple to get them to work in a SSS magwell and they have held up just fine.
  4. 126mm with the wedge basepads fit the box, don't they...?
  5. Looked like his tube got a chubby...?
  6. The Perman grips are tough to beat if you also shoot 2011's. They can be customized as well. Can be painted or covered in grip tape pretty easily. The Positecs from Techwell feel pretty awesome in the hand.
  7. Zack, I think you're killin' it! I know its not just you making it happen. Very well done. I know that the SC matches around me in A6 have grown tremendously over the past year or so. Never gonna make everybody happy all the time.
  8. The VooDoo 3Gun Bag is the jam. Built super-well and will last for quite a while unless you do something stupid to it. Long enough for the 12rd tubes. Plenty of internal dividers, magazine pouches, external pockets, external loops for stashing stuff, velcro for whatever you may want to use it for, etc. I had to order mine off of "Major Surplus" instead of the actual VooDoo website. They aren't cheap, but they are absolutely worth it.
  9. Just send it to Steve/RAS/Guncat.
  10. Incorrect. If using reticle for holdovers, gotta have the FFP reticle so that 3.2 mil holdover is the same at 4x or 6x or 10x...
  11. Deprimed case and confirmed that flash hole wasn't plugged with tumbling media? Just spit-balling...
  12. What did the primer look like when in the case that extracted? Any chance it was upside down? Do the rounds "plunk and spin" in the chamber? Could it be a combination of various problems/issues that combine and look like something else?
  13. Its a gas gun. Think its pretty close to the FN SLP and they share a bunch of parts. Open loading port. Grab extension tube. Go to town at next available match. Maybe check POI with a few different slugs if you need them for your preferred matches. Should run fine if maintained decently.
  14. There are definitely some 155gr swc projectiles available for .45.
  15. Even 16.5" should be plenty long enough.
  16. I wish mine was better, but with all the interruptions from others, it stays around a 1.5-2
  17. This^ When I was getting a new 9mm load started on my 650 I goofed up something and loaded about 2 dozen rds without any powder into a big bin that already had a few hundred rds loaded. Bought a length of brass rod. Cut to a tad over barrel length. Rounded off cut edges. Problem solved...
  18. I snagged one of the packages that included spring guide, spacer, oversized button for bolt release, tapered handguard retainer, and maybe 1-2 other pcs as well. Seems like it was around $150 which certainly adds to the cost...
  19. Agree that the standard casefeeder doesnt have the ooompf to cause that damage. Its either happening to the brass before it goes into the casefeeder, or its happening when the case doesnt get seated fully into station one and the sizing die hits the top of it on the downstroke of the handle.
  20. There are not as many 'smiths who want to fool with the JM' s for reliability work these days, so this is something to consider...
  21. I bought a 22" JM Pro... Then I bought a 24" JM Pro... I still have both. 22" is set up w/ 8rd tube. 24" is set up with 12+rd tube. Been using them for a few yrs now. Recently added a few OR3G parts and it seems better...
  22. Thanks, Grump! But, as far as I can tell, everything is still active. We can take this to PM if its just me.
