I prefer the photolaser red version. But I do agree that they make everything pop on the range.

IDPA will get a division with optics before USPSA will create a Production Optic division.

This is a good topic for me because I too am very hard of hearing. I have to use the touch method to know when to go. I wish there was a better way, I like the visual flash idea, but in reality, I'm not a very good shooter anyway so the little time lag isn't going to hurt. LOL

The tripp mags I use have little dimples in them and I just fill in one dimple with paint for mag one, two for two, etc.

Butterpuc pretty much gave my setup. I use the ImpactX photopolarized grey for every day use, the ImpactX photolaser racing Red for shooting (I love how the red FO pops and the contrast on the targets is awesome) and the ImpactX Photochromic clear for indoor shooting.

I have an STI Trojan in 9mm. It is the best shooting gun I have ever owned. I have been shooting SS for a couple years with it now. Go with the .40 slide. Major PF rules.

I can only remember one time that I changed my plan on purpose. I saw a guy do something that made much more sense than the way I had planned. Luckily, he was a few shooters in front of me so I had plenty of time to rework my plan and get it burned in my brain. I think I may have won that stage in my division. But, that is the only time I can remember changing it after the walk through. When I am making my plan my goals are to play up my "strengths" as much as possible while trying as best as possible to minimize my long list of weaknesses. And, I try to not make the plan complicated. I have seen way too many shooters crash and burn after making a very complicated plan.

The CR Speed holster will only work in USPSA Limited, Limited 10 and Open. No CR Sped products are legal in IDPA at the moment.

Swap the followers and see if that changes things.

I have some of the Salomon Speedcross 3s. They are nice. One thing I do like is that the "cleats" are rubber and they grip fairly well compared to the hard plastic type cleats. I'd imagine the Mudclaws are very similar.

I use the Techwell SP. It wraps around the magazine like the TGO but is somewhat shallower so the magazine sticks out just a touch more. That makes seating them a little easier.

I use those.

I shoot SS minor because it is the gun that I have.
