Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Over 12k rounds with a SS guide rod, no issues and I don't see any extensive wear anywhere
  2. Wow, excuse me while I change my shorts!
  3. CZ/Dan Wesson http://cz-usa.com/product/dw-elite-series-chaos-9mm-black-21-rd-mags/
  4. I put on a Mecgar +2 CZ extension and it fit and DRY functioned perfectly. Haven't put rounds down range with it yet, but I see no issue arising.

    Tricked out CZs

You can't go wrong with any of them. My preference so far has been David @ CGW
  6. I use a Phantom at home in my nightstand and a SP01 at my office. I've fired thousands of rounds through my Phantom without a single failure that I can recall, and the gun is completely modified.
  7. Got my SA back from CGW this week with all the bells and whistles including removing the FPB and David's front and rear sights. Love the trigger! The gun fits my hand better than the TS and I can already tell transitions will be a bit faster. Can't wait to take it out to a local match this weekend. I built this as a backup and because I am sending the TS out to CZC for a bunch of work and needed something while it was gone. Also had David throw in the SRS kit into into the Phantom, which definitely helped the absurd reset it had before. Cell phone pics for now.
  8. Grab a 11.5# hammer spring to play with as well. I have no issues with mine.
  9. The Eco is a little larger & heavier than I would want, plus, I don't know if I would ever carry a 1911. Shot a Rami at the range, had feeding issues, briefly read some people have issues with them. It's also a very thick and semi heavy gun. I was thinking more along the lines of a Phantom, with the dimensions slightly smaller than a P01.
  10. Hey CZ, how about a single stack, slim carry gun around the size of a Kahr CW9? One can dream!
  11. Unload the gun, put it in your holster, then TRY anyway you can to pull the trigger accidentally (without using your finger of course). That should change your mind
  12. How do you feel about the slide cuts? Make it more snappy?
  13. A 6" TS, oh, that would be a dream come true!
