  1. Indoor match 2x per month about 15 minutes away. All the outdoor matches are 1.5hrs to almost 3 hrs away.
  2. I have the blue with the white insert and don't find it distracting at all. Maybe the color draws the eye to the opening a little quicker??
  3. hates working until 11pm after coming in at 7:30am.

  4. Another one here for VV N320. Find it, stock up on it and have fun shooting.
  5. Going from this: Pre-fab from Home Depot and about $50-$60. 6 ft long by 2 ft deep. To this: 10 ft long by 33" deep. Legs are 4" boiler tubes with angle iron for bracing. Top is 2 x 12 x 10 foot boards that were "tongue and grooved" and glued together. Bottom shelf is two pieces of OSB that are glued and screwed together. I still have to apply polyurethane to the top and then transfer the press. This thing is a beast.
  6. Chet, I'm in Akron and shoot indoors at Midwest Gun Club in Canal Fulton. USPSA is every other Saturday night (8/14).... next Saturday is USPSA. The other Saturday they shoot defensive pistol (think IDPA). You can use this as a guide for places to shoot within a couple hours of Cleveland...... http://www.practicalpistol.net/Other_Places/OTHER_PLACES.htm Next Sunday is Pardoe, PA and they always put on a good 5 stage match. Welcome. Aaron
  7. Welcome to the forum from another OH member.
  8. I have the one in the gun and 3 on the belt that hold 20 reloadable each. That gives me 2 reloads and an oh sh!t mag.
  9. Most of our group shot this one sitting down. If I shoot it again I will definitely stand up. Kind of glad it won't count since I got a big fat 0 lol.
  10. Welcome, from another NE Ohio guy.
  11. Now there's something I like to hear!!! 26 rounds at a full size popper till it fell but only 1 on a 6" plate in front of a no-shoot...hum... Uh, ya, makes perfect sense right???
  12. Off work tomorrow (Tuesday) .... I could really get used to these 4 day weekends. I have no 'honey do list' items. Going to double check the zero on the gun and maybe load up a few more rounds.
  13. Put the 4th mag pouch on realizing it will be the last mag used. Start with a mag out of your front pocket with 11 it in (where you can start "up-loaded") and that will give you 51 rounds on you. You probably won't have to get to the last mag but it will be there if you need it.
  14. Definitely worth the drive down. Looking forward to making another match, or two, or three this year.
  15. Ordered mine over the weekend and got the UPS shipping confirmation yesterday. I'll be set with N320 for quite some time
  16. What time do you normally finish? Just trying to plan the drive back. Thanks.
  17. You can start here and use this as a reference. Also, take some time to go through the .40 subform of the Reloading section. If you are new to reloading, make sure you get a couple of good books and read through them a couple times. Take it slow until you get comfortable with it.
  18. I should have put in my original post that these will be shot out of a 5" Shuemann barrel so I'll load them long -- 1.185
  19. Can I safely use VV N320 with 40SW BBI 180g and 200g bullets? I didn't find much information looking back through various topics. I did come across 3.8g N320 for the 200g and 4.3g N320 for the 180's. Anyone have similar loads they've worked up? I only bought 100 of each to try out. Other powders I have available are Bullseye and Unique. Thanks.
  20. I've got my 550 on the far right. Leaves the rest of the bench open for other stuff that I'll need while I'm reloading or other projects when I'm not reloading.
