  1. Nice job! I would love to be able to do something like that someday but it's doubtful

Isn't the general consensus that SIG's should be run "wet" compared to some others? Seems like I have read that in the past.... not that others don't need it, just a little more on a SIG.
  3. Ordered 5k from Montana Gold........ ordered 180g FMJ instead of JHP.... first order ever for 40 bullets. Guess I'll pay more attention next time and shoot up these 5k
  4. I forgot about that set screw when I went to change calibers the other day. Funny, even the manual says that this is an often forgotten step
  5. I have a pair of Oakleys that I like. I do hear a lot of good things about Rudy and a guy that I shot with last night just got a pair. He couldn't say enough good things about them. I'd like to try to find a place so I can try them on my big head

That's the problem, at this point I have too much time invested and starting over would not be a good thing. Hopefully they'll get moving and I'll have an answer on Monday.

So tired of being told it will be another 24hrs before you have an answer. Well I've been told the same thing every day since Monday. Just tell me when to hear something and I'd be fine, this crap of just one more day every day is annoying. I'd go someplace else but I don't feel like starting over again at this point.
  8. I'll get a picture up this weekend but it looks like I'll be the only one using a H&K P30L
  9. I've got my stuff in the basement. It's my space and SWMBO doesn't see it..... out of sight, out of mind. I do need to get some heavy duty shelves and another bench so I can get organized. Plus I want to add some more lights and a TV
  10. have you tried the manual that is on dillons website (or if you have the manual that came with the press) pretty sure it goes through all the steps Found my printed manual, I couldn't get the one to download from Dillon's site. ::crawling back into my hole now:: LOL I really need to add another workbench so I can find stuff
  11. I am looking for a video or step by step instructions to change the primer feed on my 550. It came installed with the Large primers but now I want to load small primers. I'm sure it's not too difficult, I'd just like to see something so I can go thru a "checklist" Thanks!
  12. Great story. Hopefully I'll be able to meet a few people at either Pardoe or Crooked Creek this spring/summer..... after the 18" of global warming disappears.
  13. As soon as I get enough classifiers shot I'm sure I'll be a D. Hope to work my way out of it fairly quickly
  14. Find a local place that holds regular shoots. Take the gun you have and with minimal investment, like mag pouches and a holster, you can join in. Shoot for a while and then decide where you want to play and if you want to spend more money.
  15. Interesting discussion. Up until I got my 550 press I never case gauged anything. I decided I would get the gauges with the new press just to have them. I should also add that I never shot USPSA/IDPA until a year ago. Now, with a Limited gun on the way and the plan to shoot more, I will take the few extra minutes to make sure everything case gauges OK.
  16. I placed an order with Cabelas and received a notification that they should have SPP back in stock at the end of this month. I called to change the shipping (used the 2xflat code) and was informed that the date is now mid-May. On the plus side, I did get some N320 from Freedom Gun works this week
  17. RIP Captain Phil. As a fan of Deadliest catch, he'll be missed.
  18. Once you get signed up with another email you can then switch to a gmail account.
  19. Thanks Bill! I had someone mention Mercer, PA to me as a place to go during the summer that was worth the drive. I have in-laws in NW Indiana so I may try to catch a match or two at NPCCC in Chesterton this summer as well.
  20. Hi. Not a pilot, just used to fly a ton for work but not so much anymore. Just like to use that as a location If you listen to Bob and Tom, they have a skit about Kenny Tarmac, so that's where I got it from. I do shoot at Midwest Gun Club for the USPSA and Defensive Pistol matches. They definitely got me hooked on those type events to the point where I now want a Limited gun. I'll have to check out Crooked Creek Pistol, always looking for someplace new to go. Thanks for the heads up! Aaron
  21. Hey guys and gals- Just a quick introduction. I'm from NE Ohio and have been shooting for a number of years but only in the past year have I got into USPSA and IDPA. I feel like I really have the bug lately and have been researching everything I can read for a Limited gun. Great info here. Glad I bought the Dillon 550 from B. Enos and he pointed me here. Thanks!! Aaron
