  1. 17/34 competition, 19/43 carry
  2. waktaz, I might try it when next I shoot those...
  3. Speaking of updates, this from Boombah on 10/5/22 Vince,Thank you for reaching out again. I have spoken with one of the other ladies here and they said that we will be coming out with a new trail shoe similar to the Hellcat. The bad news is we will not have them until the end of next year. Please let me know if you have any other questions.Thank you,Angie
  4. I don't bring as much as some of these other folks do, but I know that there are times Mr. Fixit can't be there, and if I can get an activator or some other item up and running quickly, I'll do it. Part of maintaining my stage.
  5. Count all the ones that we shoot, let your classification rise and fall as the shooter rises and falls in his/her performance. Isn't that a truer reflection of your skill set? Go from "A" to "B" to "A" again, then to "C" if your performance reflects it. All major match performance should be counted, regardless of how many GM's are present. You shoot it, you own it.
  6. Seems that was exactly what was done with lights, weights and thumb rests.
  7. No, I mean how is it done? Indoors/outdoors, temperature ranges, distances, all the things we would do to chrono our own ammo under different conditions. I recognize the BOD established parameters, what are they? What chronograph is used or do they do the radar one, inquiring minds want to know...
  8. What are the conditions under which certified ammunition is fired and tested? I really don't know enough about it, just know that my uncertified changes under different conditions so I have to account for those variables.
  9. Always thought mine were heavy duty but apparently not as Norma has defeated them all....
  10. Any major I was a CRO at, barrels were painted and inspected regularly. You could easily see a glance or a penetration. Simple preparation prevents arguments or issues regarding if it penetrated or glanced off.
  11. Write to Troy and share the results with us here.
  12. I've run both styles in my Glocks, can't tell much difference if any. I prefer the ISMI, too bad they don't make them to fit the thicker heavier guide rods, though.
  13. 302 Stainless Steel Torsion Spring 90 Degree Left-Hand Wound, 0.315" OD
  14. Not sure is this is just anecdotal or not, but had been told the change was to accommodate Robbie Latham getting older, lol.
  15. When I asked, they wanted to know if I needed hearing aids or hearing protection. Soundgear items I was interested in are classified as hearing protection, not hearing aids
  16. I feel your pain, what I could do at 45 when I started USPSA is a lot harder at 68. Yes, too many won't run a timer, paste (or walk with one paster to go to a target closest that has already been pasted) or even run the scorepad. They just want to shoot, improve their performance, watch themselves on video after shooting a COF, and shooting the breeze. It's all about them. It does get demoralizing when you have so many newer shooters that don't read rulebooks or help out. They forget who will be running matches whenever we are gone. So I bitch at them, make a nuisance of myself, and hope they inflict themselves on someone else next time.
  17. GoFast Don't Suck, MW aktiv wear, probably a few more out there
  18. They get educated, they just need reminded. Some of us can't be everywhere, it's incumbent on all of us to teach.
  19. It is, but is becoming more common. Just like established (and new) shooters not knowing where they are in the order or who they shoot after. SMH
  20. Admin, close this before it gets out of hand, lol. (no pun intended)
  21. Absolutley, and as said by others, should have done it first time. Hell, I throw the following squad off the stage if the encroach while we are still shooting....
