  1. I am running it in a back bedroom, reduced size targets with your basic fan kit lighting. Laser reads fine. If I ride the trigger and do not release it it will pick up the continual beam as shots fired. Nice feedback for trigger release/freeze. Running bill drills today. Rather fun,
  2. Good question, nice to have a little exec summary of changes.
  3. OMG....got this program and found more in 5 minutes than I have in years. Using reduced scale targets, already have a webcam, have the SIRT. Saw - actually saw - the mistakes I make weak handed. Unbelievable. Auditory and visual feedback, ability to delineate a target area, par times, random starts. I watched my draw to first shot times drop, watched my splits and transitions drop. Granted, no recoil to manage, but a real confidence booster. I spent half as much for a single target that was supposed to pick up laser light that never worked. This software is amazing, absolutely amazing.
  4. Rob, just keep in mind the tolerances or lack thereof that Glocks have, making each pistol slightly unique. On the three G34's I have, I can swap all of the internals out of my main competition pistol, move them into another one, with the only difference being the slide and the frame, and the feel and break is completely different. Put them back in my main gun and it is right as rain again. I can go through every internal part between all of them and can't identify the one thing that gives this gun or that gun its "feel". Good luck on your quest young padawan. I see we are going to have an interesting season....
  5. East Huntingdon also has weekly indoor practices. pm me your email and I will hook you up with the match director there. A little closer for you.
  6. Do a Benihanna style flip and catch on the crown of your hat. If you have to do it, entertain me.
  7. I like him going slow, only way to beat him with his "A" fetish.
  8. We simply use another nook as the master device, don't need an ipad. Save money.
  9. You can only control your game, and it is based on the match you are shooting. No two matches you shoot are ever the same.
  10. I wanna see ya shoot all As :-) Uh, I shoot with Red Ryder...that is all he shoots, save for the occasional "C" to mix things up.
  11. The rules are the rules. Why anyone shooting the nats is not aware of the rules of the Division they are shooting...shame on them.
  12. USPSA home page says after the 22nd. Once again, no reason why it could not have been done before heading off, but hey, what do i know....
  13. Running a 15 ISMI with 147 grain.
  14. Likewise have been using the dropbox method. Much easier.
  15. I use the extra longer tubes to reload the mini. Pass it over the holes, bullets drop in until full, move on to the next until the tube is empty.

    G34 Mag Release

From NROI: An external part which extends only the length of the magazine-release button is specifically allowed in section 21.6 of the 2009 interpretation, whether the part is OEM or aftermarket. If the part provides a larger surface area (a big head, a button, a paddle, etc) or is different than the original part in any dimension other than length, the part is only permitted if it is an OEM part available on an approved model of gun. Note that an internal modification to a magazine-release mechanism which results in shifting the magazine-release laterally (i.e., making the part stick out further on one side of the gun) would be considered an "internal modification", and is allowed. Also note that parts from "custom shop" guns are only considered "OEM parts" if the "custom shop" model is on the NROI list of approved guns. If NROI has not certified the "custom shop" gun for USPSA Production Division, using a custom-shop part may be an "external modification", resulting in a "new/unapproved model" which would be illegal for USPSA Production Division. Contact NROI for an official ruling before switching to the new part.
  17. My g34 likes hotter, so for production (USPSA) I run at 137-139 PF. After a certain point, you can't tell a difference. Like mentioned above, I'd recommend 135.
  18. Is that what you expected to happen, or was there a timing issue that occurred? Since it is always seems like a crap shoot on when a classifier will get dumped, that 100% being dropped was unexpected. Of course I also figured Area 4 would have been included since that shot prior to Sep 10th. Timing is a tough issue and one that I'd like to see get addressed. Having a match submitted immediately but classifiers not paid for until a month or two later is not fair to our shooters. Wonder how many people have been tagged with a chance to move up had the match been properly paid for on time (by my definition - paid for when match is submitted to USPSA) but "lost" standing because they shot a few more classifiers in the mean time before the better one was paid that were at the lower end of being acceptable.
  19. Hmm, a former shooter burned out one or two KKM barrels shooting MG 147's with Titegroup in his G34. If memory serves, I believe he spoke with Kevin (?) at KKM, He switched to 124's after that conversation.
  20. Uh, having rooted 10+ Nooks, no it is not.
  21. From developer's website where you can dl the apk http://www.printershare.com/download-android.sdf
