HOW can you EVER get used to the height of that thing? ? Even with my Burris melted in the slide, I STILL occasionally lose the dot, I can't imagine that thing.

I've had my eotech on several MKA's since July of 2012, before that it was on my AR for about 2 years.

+10 We recently placed an order with one of our dist. 2 days later I check to see if it had shipped. NOPE ! PENDING ? ? ? So I call, "OH everybody is at SHOT, meeting our dealers, they will be back, and shipping on the 20th" Me " Well WE are one of your dealers, OUR customers couldn't care less that you're at SHOT. If the order is not shipped TODAY, I WILL be calling someone else" It got shipped.

EXACTLY, my experience. The Bi metal is ALL I shoot at my targets. Worst thing I see is Sparks at night.

muzzle sweeping my kids during home carry...
toothandnail replied to collards's topic in Miscellaneous BEginners
SO FAR ( I say that because SO MANY peoples guns "just go off" ) I have NEVER had a gun fire unless I PULLED the trigger. I also let my kids walk in front/behind off the car when it's parked in the garage. BUT , I like living on the EDGE -
Here's mine, we've done quite a few Burris FF lll's this way ETA, I'd recommend a taller front post, I've installed one since these pics. Also cut it 1mm lower, as well. it's cut 4mm deep now

Ruger SR9: Extensive review + Fix of certain failures to extract
toothandnail replied to Whoops!'s topic in Ruger
I have 2, shot one for about a year and a half, other was a CCW gun, shot it quite a lot as well. Both have been flawless, I have read of others having a few problems though. I switched to Glock, because of the lack of after market parts, still carry the one almost daily, other is in my night stand. -
We shoot Win. AA 1145 fps in our MKA 1919's. Take several pack of 1300 fps for extreme instances. Seems the AA's have some of the best hulls. Never had the Win Universal bulk work* in any semi, barely work in a pump. * By WORK, I mean reliably

REALLY ? ? WOW !

Both the UTS and KSG certainly unique, I haven't shot a KSG, seems they (like most Keltec's ) are rare birds. At least the UTS is available.
-
We have a trigger available that gets it down to 6-7# , a little polishing can reduce it more.
-
Not really a 3gun shotgun but FUN, here's a little project we've been working on in what little spare time we've had The MKA 1919 platform seems to be taking off pretty good. Here's the UTS-15 +2 extension http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIsM-julDJw&feature=share&list=UUi1aKZq2EwVQuGsgz4Y-eqQ

SO MANY are SO QUICK to forget, "EVERYBODY'S a hero " so much PC BS makes me sick. No wonder this country is circling the drain. ETA; DID they lower it for Margret Thatcher ? HOW many days ? HOW MANY of our leaders went to her funeral ? Never mind, I just remembered her race.

I didn't have any trouble getting the follower to go down, it wouldn't come back UP. I had to file the front of the mag all the way to a sharp point, they work good now.

Sorry, but I don't subscribe to the PC crap of " ALL is forgiven, EVERYBODY'S a Saint once they die". He was an admitted terrorist up until 1983, responsible for the death of 19, in the Church Street bombing. His ANC invented "necklacing" or at least made it COMMON practice. I could go on for quite some length on just what I REMEMBER from that era. He DID finally make a turn in his last few years, but He and His movement took a self sustaining 1st world country into a 3rd world hellhole dependent on outside help to stay afloat. I don't care what you cause is KILLING innocent women and children is NEVER acceptable.
-
I doubt ALL the people, and their families(if they are still alive) he's responsible for being killed aren't so forgiving. Apartheid was bad , but NO WHERE NEAR what followed it, that he's responsible for.

Sounds like a GOOD idea to me, a small slot will not compromise the strength , the debris, reason could be a much bigger problem.

bicycle riders trying to commit suicide by car
toothandnail replied to jaredr's topic in What I Hate
+10 Also like how they THINK they don't have to obey the same rules of the road as cars. -
We run 1145's with a mid barrel comp, on both our built MKA's, we shoot 1300's on a few hard targets. a proper setup MKA should run 1145's at 99.9% reliability, 1200's should be NO problem
