I don't think having it undercut is going to be legal for Production. UNLESS a modification is SPECIFICALLY authorized in the rules or SPECIFICALLY authorized in an official, published NROI interpretation, it is considered a PROHIBITED MODIFICATION.

Try this. Search "First Major Match". Let the results come up. After the results come up, look under the search bar for "more search options". Click that. Directly under the search bar, click on "The phrase First Major Match". Let that page load. If you want to search just threads about "first major match", after loading, on the far right under the search bar, you will see (in blue) "First Major Match in content titles only"...click that. I found 535 results with the phrase "First Major Match".

I've tried several different bullets with my CZ. With MG 115 JHP, I had to load at 1.085, with MG 147 FMJ I had to load the same. With some home cast 147's, I could load out to 1.150, and with PD 147 FMJ's, I could load out to 1.150. It all depends on the bullet ogive. My current load is 3.5 N320 with a PD 147 FMJ @ 1.150, gives me. 134 PF.

My local range bans bi-metal cased ammo. They say for liability reasons. They claim that the bi-metal ammo has caused some kabooms. That being said, they have no issue with aluminum cased ammo, such as Blazer.

Having shot both in Production, I personally think 40 minor is softer shooting than 9mm minor...and the only reason I left to 9 minor is cost. 40 minor in a plastic fantastic is easy shooting. To get the same kind of recoil impulse (for me anyway) in 9mm minor, I had to move to a steel framed gun.

What do mean by "belly"? Do they kind of look like a coke bottle shape? If so, that is normal and desirable. Prevents bullet setback.
