Some of the best (performance wise) matches I have ever shot, were after a somewhat long hiatus, and I was just shooting to have fun, had no expectations of doing well, I was just there to shoot and BS with friends.
Let go of all expectations and just shoot. Your expectations are getting in your head. Stop watching other people shoot the stage, stop trying to find out their times, I would say stop worrying about anything but your own performance, but even stop worrying about that...just shoot. Stop trying to go fast and just let it happen.
A more real advantage to 38 super (or 38SC) is a wider range of powders can be used. So, each has its advantages and disadvantages, 9mj with brass cost being cheaper, and the 38 super and variants having a wider range of powders.
Rust / corrosion is caused by the oxygen and moisture in the air reacting with the iron in the metal. Anything that blocks the air and moisture from getting to the iron will work. At my work, I splice very large copper cables carrying DC current. Copper oxidizes easily in moist air, so we use a corrosion inhibitor called No-Ox-ID A. It is essentially a non conductive grease. Vaseline can also be used.

There are exceptions....but, then again, there are a ton of threads on here about 2011 open guns not running either. My 2011 Trubor has been flawless, the only issues I've ever had have been ammo related.
Traveling for work, I've tried many different coffee's, never could find the "one" that i truly liked enough to brew at home...until I tried Cafe Bustelo. If you like coffee, give it a try.
So, what's your favorite coffee?
You're welcome!
PowderValley is how you experiment with different powders. Buy 4 or 8lbs or what you know you like, then buy 1lb jugs of those you want to try, up to 48lbs on one hazmat fee.
PowderValley has 4lb jugs of VV N320 for $142.50 shipped, which includes hazmat fee. That breaks down to $35.62 a pound. Buy 8lbs and it drops the price to $32.36 per lb. Buy 16lbs and it drops the price to $30.36 per lb.
If you are buying powder in your local GS, you are doing it wrong.
By comparison, PowderValley has Titegroup for $293.80 for 16lbs...which breaks down to $18.36 per lb.
