  1. Could be anywhere really...or might hit in the same spot. I've had different loads hit left/right/high/low compared to others. Don't think there's much of a set reaction as there's just too many variables.
  2. Favorite for me was 4.0g of Titegroup behind a MG 124 CMJ @ 1.14". I ran it down to about 3.8g and still made minor, but it felt a little too sluggish to me. All the loads were accurate and you could probably get away with 3.7-3.8g for her and still make minor. It'd be super cush
  3. We have run a ton of the Badgers, but have switched over most of our rifles over to Seekins as it's a better system. It's sleeker having a AR-style button release instead of a bottom lever and has worked flawlessly.
  4. I'll play... Seekins Upper/Lower/Tri-Rail, Adjustable Gas Block and Brake RBros/Seekins/Rock 18" barrel (Rock barrel contoured by Seekins to RBros spec and chambered by RBros) ACE stock Leupold Multigun 1-6x in Leupold mount Youngs SLC carrier BCM Mod-3 CH
  5. I'm going with Tac-Mod or XLR. The XLR is something I've thought about using for an upcoming project.
  6. I seem to recall having this happen with one of mine and it turned out there was something haywire with the sear spring. Just a thought, good luck!
  7. I weighed one on a postal scale awhile back and recall that my dirty, powder fouled brake weighed in at just under 4oz.
  8. Me thinks I got a defective one as mine didn't come with the "stupid fast" mode??? That aside, and although I haven't used nearly the pile of brakes that PK has, this is certainly the best one I've used. Very well thought out and executed.
  9. I have been using TAC with both the 53g and 77g bullets and it's working quite nicely.
  10. Word on the street is that you may want to be prepared for rifle targets out to 500.... I'm hoping I actually get to go now as there's a pretty serious fire just a couple canyons over from my house. Good chance I'll be getting an evacuation notice in the next day or two the way things are looking.
  11. I know the Seekins adjustable gas block will fit under both their MCSR and SP3R rails. Both of those rails come in 12" versions that would fit the bill nicely.
  12. I have zero knowledge to add to this other than your best bet for M1A HM iron sight information is P.E. Kelley on this forum or at multigunmedia.com..... PK is a great guy and always willing to help fellow shooters out.
  13. Here's some video from the RO match. I only got about half the stages since I forgot to charge my camera before the first day of the match.
  14. Why does it kick more??? Well, simply put, it launches the same weight bullet at around 500fps faster.
  15. I really like the Fiocchi 1oz, although I imagine the 7/8oz ones are just as good. The 1oz ones are just so stoopid accurate that I haven't even tried the 7/8oz slugs. They work great out of my M2, but don't always function the SLP.
  16. After having both a tricked out Glock 34 and 35, and now having an XDm 5.25, my vote is for the XDm. Shoot all the different brands that you're interested in and see which one works best for you. The good thing about most of the people doing this sport is that they're more than willing to let you shoot their toys.
  17. Thanks to everyone who helped make this match happen. I hope everyone enjoyed shooting the bolt gun and thank you Doug and Scott for allowing us to be a part of this match. Prop guns always seem to be a bit of a time sink, and our stage was long enough as it was, so thank you Earl for keeping guys moving through the rest of the stage so I only had to worry about getting people on target and making wind calls!
  18. We have a couple that we'll be running at the NWMG match if anyone wants to check them out. I've been out of town working since I got it and haven't had a chance to mess with it much but it seems like a pretty good scope so far.
  19. I can't really offer a solution, but does it act like the lifter isn't able to be pushed up far enough? Mine does that occasionally and I've yet to find a solution.
  20. Not to intrude.....but take a look at the Seekins AICS DBM setup if you haven't already. I like them better than either the Badger or the Surgeon due to the push button AR style mag release.
  21. 8.1.1.1 Loaded (Option 1): magazine filled and fitted (if applicable), chamber(s) loaded, hammer and/or sear cocked and safety catch applied (if the shotgun is designed to have one). 8.1.1.2 Loaded (Option 2): magazine filled and fitted (if applicable), chamber(s) empty and the action closed. 8.1.1.3 Unloaded (Option 3): fixed magazine must be empty, detachable magazines removed and chamber(s) must be empty. The action/bolt may be open or closed.
  22. BLM land just north of the range, go someplace safe and pull the trigger, that's what I do every year. Doug Isn't that what the first stage is for?
  23. OK, so what if you don't have an IPad at all? Best to get the latest version or a used Ipad2 that someone is getting rid of?
