  1. I can't find the info right now (weak google fu), but there is some company(?) offering online stores for small brick & mortar stores that don't have the ability to create/maintain/sustain/?? an online store....supposedly. All of these supposed legit stores will have a website with the XYZshop.com address. I think the company is/was called something like Market Front. Looked ripe for scam artists, although supposedly there were actual legit stores, but I think it's mostly scams. Nolan
  2. I use an ultrasonic cleaner every time I clean my AR, or my MPX BCG. I've used various brands of 'firearm' specific cleaning solutions. They all work about the same. Yes, it is effective, but it won't eliminate some manual, physical scraping, etc...and you'll still have to pull the bolt apart to wipe up anything left under the extractor, it just makes it much easier. Nolan
  3. I've had good results with a Holosun 510C with just the standard included mount. So far it's held up to a couple thousand rounds. I generally leave it set with both the dot and circle illuminated. Nolan
  4. I would tell them my name is Mike Hunt or similar. Nolan

LOL! You interrupt me on the toilet, my gun is going to be the least of your worries! Chemical warfare will be your chief worry! Nolan
  6. Tomato - Tomatoe, but it's not duct tape! I've used this stuff at work to anchor an angle iron frame to a concrete floor. Just make sure to clean as much dust off the floor and stomp pad frame (maybe a solvent wetted rag wipe) first, put the tape all the way around the bottom of the stomp pad frame, peel off the second side and make double damn sure of where you want the stomp pad when you put it down. You only get one chance. 3M VMB Double sided tape. https://www.amazon.com/3M-Heavy-Mounting-width-length/dp/B007Y7H63Q To get the stomp pad off the floor, you'll have to cut the tape off the floor with something like this Red Devil scraper. Then scrape the remnants of the tape off the floor. https://www.amazon.com/Red-Devil-2108-Handle-Scraper/dp/B07J5FPD4L Nolan
  7. If you've got any junk parts, cracked slide, shot-out barrel, etc. Slap it together and go to a gun buy back. Take some cash with you and see if you can buy something nice while you're there getting your $50 gift card for the Mitchell. Just kidding....sorta. Nolan
  8. Don't knock em, if you ain't tried them. I've been using them mostly for practice because they are really easy to pick up with a strong magnet. My only issue so far has been since they are so much lighter than regular brass cases, my MPX throws them halfway across the range, my open pistol is much more tidy and only throws them a third of the way across the range. I've loaded some of them to major pf more than 10 times and they still look good, no loose primer pockets. splits, etc... The case head shows the ejector marks, but nothing really serious and the rim isn't all beat up. I like them, but yeah, if you don't have the special dies, just toss them. The special dies load regular 9mm brass just fine. If you have a magnet on your case feed tube, it will catch the NAS3 cases no problem. There is a comparison photo at 6:25 the video between the 32 times loaded case and a new case. Nolan
  9. These are similar to the GT Targets Static Clay Target Holders. I have not used or seen these used in person, just posting for better images of the stand design. Nolan Superior Ideas currently Four 24" tall stands $58 https://sitargets.com/product/4-pc-24-38-ar500-clay-pigeonknock-target-stand-set/ AR500 Targets currently Five 22" tall stands for $70 https://ar500steel-targets.com/product/clay-pigeon-holder-knock-down-stands/# GT Target Currently 12 various height stands for $120 or 6 for $65 https://www.gttargets.com/ShotGunand3GunTargets.htm#Static Clay Target Holder
  10. I think it was Austin Behlert. https://www.1911addicts.com/threads/austin-behlert-colt-cco-sort-of.129187/ Nolan
  11. The Accu-Bushing is a copy of the original 1911 version. I don't remember who made the original. They also made one of the first pivoting triggers, and several other 'normal' 1911 parts. Nolan
  12. So far the most effective methods for me have been switching back to an open style gas plug from the adjustable type, having spare gas plugs and gas pistons, replacing the gas piston rings frequently and using an ultrasonic cleaner, along with aggressive physical cleaning, ie... picks, scrapers and a bronze bore brush for the gas cylinder. All of the name brand ultrasonic gun cleaning fluids I've tried have all worked about the same, which is to say, mediocre, so no magic bullet there. I also only shoot either JHP or Total Metal Jacket, no coated or plated bullets. It's a pain in the nether regions and the damn carbon is so hard to see against the black parts, I've thought about having the parts hard chromed, notice I only said 'thought'. Nolan
  13. Come on, man. Are we going to have to start posting sarcasm/humor emoji's in posts so people don't take them so seriously? Seriously? One of the funniest things I've heard was at a 3 Gun match late in the Pandemic while I was making ready when I overheard someone in the peanut gallery say "Geez, it looks like Santa Claus is shooting 3 Gun now!" Yea, I had the Pandemic beard going. Yea, it took me a bit to recover enough to finish making ready. So, I vote we have a Santa Claus category! Nolan
  14. I'm currently enjoying my Sexagenarian (Super Senior) category! Nolan
  15. I have very little time or patience for most social media or interwebs. This forum is one of the few places I spend any time online outside of my work. Nolan
  16. That magazine looks very close to the Colt Service Ace magazine. Triple K makes replacement magazines, but they have a pretty spotty reputation for reliability and they are expensive. https://www.triplek.com/product/colt-aceconversion-22lr-10-rd-magazine-or-grips/ I have no personal experience but I've read that the GSG 1911 .22 magazines work in the Colt Conversions and may work in your conversion. They are cheap and have worked well in some of my conversions. https://www.joeboboutfitters.com/GSG-Sig-Sauer-1911-22LR-10rd-magazine-p/gsg-ati-germm1911.htm Hmm, not as cheap as I remember. Thank you JFB! Nolan
  17. Yes! I prefer Super Duper Senior category. Nolan
  18. This! A good builder should be able to build guns that will feed empty cases. All of my Open and Limited guns will feed an empty case....every time. I have dis-abled the slide lock on most of my competition guns so when I'm practicing slow fire, I load an empty case into the magazine, then load the rounds I'm going to shoot so I can just concentrate on sights, trigger pull, etc... and let the last round click be a check for follow through. It's also a nice confidence check to know the magazine and gun will feed an empty case. Nolan
  19. No, it won't hurt the primer. I have used Dykem, both spray and pens on caseheads for thousands of rounds with no problem, before I switched to using MarksALot permanent markers with my old BrassMaster Case Stripers Modern primers are surprisingly hard to disable short of removing the anvil or not seating them deep enough. I think all of the cautions about oils, moisture, etc... are leftovers from earlier generations of primers. Nolan
  20. Anyone care to guess the age of the Dillon employee who's spending his time on Reddit? Nolan
  21. The new website is terrible. My guess is they don't want to sell parts for the old RL1050 or Super 1050. When I've done part number searches on their website for 1050 parts, most come up blank, and part number searches on Google sometimes will show a hit on the Dillon website, but following the link is a dead-end, for instance "Dillon Precision 20317" results in an Error 404 from the Google link https://www.dillonprecision.com/super-1050-primer-system-parts_8_116_25607.html I've just about given up trying to buy direct from Dillon for anything 1050 related. Just get the part numbers out of the manuals and search on Fleabay and Amazon. https://www.dillonprecision.com/manuals.html For the RL1050 https://www.dillonprecision.com/media/manuals/dillon-rl1050-manual-english.pdf For the Super 1050 https://www.dillonprecision.com/media/manuals/dillon-super1050-manual-english.pdf Nolan
  22. Have you checked your autofill settings? Go to Settings (3 vertical dots, top right corner) select Autofill (top left side). Make sure the various autofill selections aren't turned off. if that doesn't work https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/4369710/autofill-not-working-right?hl=en https://thegeekpage.com/chrome-autofill-not-working/ Nolan
  23. Awesome! I'm looking on Craiglist/ebay/etc... for the Pink Barbie version! Nolan
