I just always shoot some jacketed bullets through the gun after using coated if that is a concern. Works with a 22 and those filthy rounds.

I have med/small hands and shoot a 2011 better than my 1911. To each their own. Seems backwards in theory.

Heard somebody tell me that if you spray your comp with “one shot” before a major match or a s#!t load of shooting it helps to keep the carbon buildup minimal or at least easier to clean off. Any truth ????
