  1. Try a jager striker and you can run the light striker spring no problem and will feel very crisp. If you run a light striker spring, I suggest a light light weight striker. Mine sets off winchester primers no problem. Spring combos to avoid. Extra power trigger spring and light striker spring as this can cause the trigger to not reset forward all the way where the trigger safety does not engage. Full power striker spring and very light recoil spring(avoid 11 definately, MABY the 13 as well if you keep an eye on it) These work against eachother. If the recoil is too light for the striker spring it can take it out of battery a little bit when firing.
  2. I say go 5 + the one in the gun. There really isnt a need for 6 or 7 mags. If you think you might be shooting other divisions later on, get the CR speed ones as they fit several different mags with the spacer change. A little velcoro on the back keeps them from sliding. The safariland are nice also but not a versitle pouch
  3. He must have been shooting an open gun without the 10+1 mag limit lol
  4. Randolph Ranger. A little pricy also but great warranty and well worth the money
  5. What I like about his triggers are they are Crisp. I have never got that crispness from a polish job and some springs.
  6. the SNL is like a +1 and then some. It is similar to the difference between the bolon 3mm and 4mm pads. They lean towards it because it gives a little more room in the tube. I use the standard +1 on a STI tube with Gram guts and get 20 in the mag without worry. For me, its not worth filing feed lips to push it that close to the line

Nothing better for a UK fan than watching Duke loose, well unless we are the ones beating them.
  8. You can use it but prepare for some iron sight open minor. It is easy to tell because when they go to chrono and pull the trigger it is very obvious that the pre travel is gone. Believe me, the guys who run the chrono at the big matches have a pretty darn good idea how a glock trigger pretravel should feel. Order the production legal one and learn to ride the reset
  9. so if the gun is shot a ton and wears is that considered a modification?
  10. Made some pretty good progress here but what kills me is my job has me basically living out of my car and pretty much the only thing your gonna get out of a drivethrough or gas station is loaded with carbs. So I while i wouldnt recommend it, I went with the pretty much if you cant eat something right, dont compromise philosophy. So the low carb bar, shake or small bag of nuts have been made a meal several times. Not filling at all but takes the edge off is about it
  11. Crap, my stomach lurched as I read that!!! You would be SURPRISED how often that happens. Helped a buddy out and its amazing how many "unloaded" guns had one in the pipe. Heck my dad received a gun in for a transfer that was shipped to him that was loaded as well "oh sorry we must have forgot to check it"
  12. I wouldnt want the hulls kicking out across my face. I don't see it as that hard to reach over the gun for an extended charging handle in case of a jam
  13. Built 2 with their parts including a SBR and both run great.
  14. Not sure why the hate for the SP. I prefer it to the LP brass
  15. Mine runs like a top. Generally your safer running round nose bullets in the gun than a flat point. I Have mainly Tripp mags in mine which are the 10 roundes. For a 9 round, the metalform "springfield" mag which has the grove down the front works flawless as well. I would say the spartan is the best bang for the buck going.
  16. It's not. If I wanted to shoot a different gun at a match, I would have brought that gun. I agree on that all the way especialy on scoring targets
  17. If your not sure how to do it 100 percent it shouldnt cost much for a smith to put it in for you. Easier piece of mind that its done right and your not gonna mess up an expensive safety learning.
  18. I went with the spartan myself. Added griptape on the front, dawson MSH and VZ slim grips. I also had a local smith do a trigger job on the gun. It runs great and I really don't have a ton of money in the gun. On the major minor thing it has alaredy been worn out on debate. If hes new to shooting and is on a budget the 9mm is alot cheaper to shoot and less recoil to deal with and 2 extra rounds in the mag
  19. Check to make sure your not riding the release ie keeping it pinned down when shooting. Try this with your thumb nowhere near it to see if it still does it. If so, go back to the factory or adjust grip
  20. Check out the glocktriggers.com challenger or vogel(same thing that includes a couple extra springs. Both are production legal and work great. If you really want it even smoother, try adding a jager lightened striker. Glockworx also has one called the standard which is production legal as does vanek. The problem with the fulcrum is it is a non factory trigger thats external over a modified factory bar. Also on other triggers that use a factory bar that was modified, if the pretravel is removed and the trigger safety trimmed then its a external mod as well and not production legal
  21. it is legal for limited 10, limited and open. It is not production legal though
  22. Open and some matches that state 8+1 at the start ie once buzzer goes off you can load more
  23. been checking daily for them to show up here
  24. Did you do any trigger weight measurements before and after? For me it is not the weight because once a year I practice for GSSF but I can tell the difference in feel. The gun even sounds crisper with the Jager than with a ZEV I bought during a backorder period. Exactly, I can feel the difference easily between the jager and stock just by pulling the trigger. The factory has more of a spongey feeling to it
