  1. Top-down governance - we love it - why ask?
  2. Oh and watch out - you may need to adjust the seater die as different brands have different ogives that yield differences on OAL.
  3. Dave - I bought Blue Bullets on sale and like them but if the price is the same I get BBI - he is closer and the bullets get here in 2 biz days.
  4. 3.3g w231 to 3.5g with lead or poly coated lead. 3.5g for Plated lead - works for me
  5. Be sure to put it in a dry place - one thing that can happen to brass is an electrolytic reaction that makes the primers bond to the case. When you try to decap them it will just punch through leaving a ring and be unusable - if they are dry and stay dry that won't happen.
  6. You guys might like the melonite finish - it is a surface hardening and reduces friction a bit as well as protecting against corrosion - works on Stainless or Chrome Steel - I like it and prefer it to other coatings. Well worn Model 10 Good condition 629 - Stainless Colt with too much oil
  7. The only thing I have noticed is that it turns the brass somewhat rusty brown - I do not go about 250 degrees - the main thing you want is to be near boiling to drive off the water trapped in primers. I do not know where you would reach the point of annealing the brass - clearly annealing the base could be a real issue.
  8. 15 felt better in my 35 and it gives a long life with major - on the other hand I run the same gun in speed steel with a 13 and have forgotten to change it back before shooting major and only noticed when I cleaned the gun.
  9. I had a 34 and had no issues with it.
  10. Have them melonited - it will cure the rust too.
  11. 3.8 gr W231 - Coated bullet - very accurate, reliable and whacks the steel
  12. http://montanagoldbullet.com/index.php/45-200gr-jfp-200.html
  13. I tried the slide glide and it certainly has a role but not sure it would be right for your pistols. I stick to ATF for cleaning and Mobil 1 for lube - wet is right for these guns - not sloppy wet just seeping a bit.
  14. I find the MSA very comfortable but I find my Peltor's seal better when you RO in 3Gun or USPSA Open shooters you can tell the difference right away.
  15. I had some batches of Wolf that were harder than others - the problem was you could not tell which was which - - so I don't buy them anymore.
  16. My results tracked for a while and then stopped - I wish there was a way to fix this.
  17. My 140s arrived and worked right out of the box. I hope they will make some in 40!
  18. Stay away from Brocks Gap - it is an unsavory crowd!
  19. That is plenty of powder - any chance your brass was wet? Might try mag primers - how does it work in a pistol?
  20. Thanks got a couple of 9mm 140s to try out.
