I picked up an itty bitty single stack big bore blaster for BUG matches.

I'm pretty disgusted by the wanton destruction of firearms. Although, it looks like there's no shortage. I wonder how many of those puppies have ever been made?

When my son was in the 4th grade, we had a similar issue. I was on a fist name basis with most of the school staff because I spent almost as much time in the principals office as my kid. Finally, in a student teacher conference, I told the teacher that was giving us all the grief, that if she didn't ease up, I was going to make it my mission in life to get her job. At first, she was skeptical but after a week of me calling the school superintendent with daily reports of her nonsense, she backed off. I hope that you're able to resolve this. I shot a classifier Sunday just to keep my SSP classification current (only shoot ESP/CDP/SSR regularly). I decided that I'd just go balls-to-the-wall and see what happened... Well, the wheels came off when I started shooting without looking at the front sight. Still shot EX, so no change in classification.

I've got enough tinfoil. I don't need chrome.

I've been using Mobil 1 5w20 for over a year now and it's been great. I see no need for anything else.

I like Hogue wood round to square conversion grips. My trigger finger lands exactly where I want it to be and it points naturally for me.

Congrats! If you can maintain that level of enthusiasm, you'll need a bigger home to hang all your wood in a few years from now. Try not to let the top dogs know you're gunning for them though. They'll use Jedi mind tricks on you to stay out front.

I'd go with the SW625-2. I like the older guns, no lock, no MIM parts and you can probably do whatever you want to it for less than the difference in price between it and the PC gun. I have a 625-3 and a PC 627. There is no comparison in regard to build quality, in my opinion the ol' 625 is a much better gun. My .02

Build up your forearms like Jerry's (or Popeye's) and everything will feel like an airsoft. Seriously though... You've got to control the gun and that takes some strength.

As long as you don't use it for a slide lock reload it's fine. If the slide is locked back when you reload then you risk over inserting the mag and locking up the gun. Wilson will replace the mag free though if you send it in. Gary

I like the way you think. Except that consuming alchohol that you bring to a place (airplane cabin) that alchohol is sold for consumption is illegal.

I'm using one, simply because it's a great bushing (fit) and it was handy when I needed one. It niether adds nor subtracts from my guns performance. It works like any other standard bushing.

Thanks guys. Hopefully It won't take long to do it again. Bob, I was shooting a 200gr Moly coated LSWC on 4.3grs of Clays. It's real accurate and reliable in my guns. Your Kimber may have a tight chamber, or may just need to be shot more. Mine has been 100% since day one though.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Bad people see things and just take them like they're free. No conscience. Get your windows tinted (if not already) and buy a blanket that's the same color as your interior. Hidden in plain sight.

I shot our local IDPA match last night. We had 5 stages and some really tight shots with a lot of non threats, low ports and the most hard cover I've ever seen in one match. I shot CDP with my winter carry gun, a 5" all steel Kimber Classic Custom in 45 ACP. A couple of perf shots but in the end, ZERO DOWN. I was pretty excited. Overall, I came in 2nd place, missing 1st overall by 0.52 seconds. One of these days, I will make HOA and be zero down. That's my goal. Gary
