  1. Wow... Brings back a lot of memories. I seem to recall the Para P13 (14)? was first though. I haven't seen one of those McCormick frames in a lot of years. I bet they're still out there tearing up cardboard somewhere.
  2. Shoot what's the most fun. That's what I say. If shooting CDP with a 1911 is less fun than shooting SSP/ESP with your G34, then there is no dilema.
  3. Open's gonna be mighty tough with a SingleStack.
  4. So popular he gets 2 B-day threads. Happy Birthday!
  5. I'll second that. You won with a nice margin too. Congrats!
  6. Dan, I've had the same issues you describe, at times and find that if I just relax, take a deep breathe and tune out everything but what I am about to do, I do much better. Welcome back! Gary
  7. I've tried a few different thumb pieces and none of them offered any advantage over the NEW style factory part. I'm talking about the one that's slanted. The older factory thumb piece with the dished out area isn't as fast as the new slanted one in my opinion. All my Revos have the factory part installed.
  8. I shot this one in SS and in L10 (same gun and SS gear, diff mags) on 9/27/2008 Jones, Gary 19 B Limited 10 97 0 8.41 11.5339 (69.3188) SS was (67.9455%) but I don't have the raw numbers.
  9. Don't think about the end result, just stay focused on the shooting. You WILL do it.
  10. Don't sweat it. When you do make MA, you'll be deep in it timewise
  11. I don't shoot Glocks much anymore but for me, it's all about the reset. All the aftermarket trigger kits I've tried had a slower reset than the stock setup. All I do to my triggers is polish the contact areas and install a FACTORY 3.5# connector. For me, that works as good as an expensive aftermarket kit. I want the trigger to reset with authority and not be mushy.
  12. The future of America... Pretty damn scary.
  13. Y'all need to check this out http://fortworthgasprices.com/ you can substitute your city for Fort Worth. It's constantly updated by site users so you can see who is the cheapest in your area.
  14. He's just a heckofa nice guy. Although, the sunblocking skills don't hurt.
  15. There are other benefits to having a pistol that can shoot more than one caliber. Maybe large primers suddenly are in short supply. You find a smokin' deal on a large lot of 40 bullets. etc. I'm sure you can think of more reasons.
  16. You need to drive that baby to the Chik-fil-a drive-thru
  17. Nope. The G20 mags work just fine with 40 ammo. I used to have a G20 with a Federal 40 barrel and it ran like a champ.
  18. KKM makes a 10mm conversion barrel for the G21. I have one and it runs perfectly. So, I imagine that you could get KKM to chamber that barrel in 40, then you'll just need some G20 mags and you should be on your way.
  19. Great! You'll make A in no time. Remember, Advil is your friend.
  20. Yes, gas is coming down here in North TX as well. I'm seeing 2.57 per gallon for reg unleaded. But, it's still too high. We've been conditioned to think this is cheap. We need $1.50 per gallon.
  21. I haven't seen one but you could drill and tap the end and add your own extension.
