  1. I really like the ones from comp-tac www.comp-tac.com
  2. Interesting. I have allowed many shooters to fish their barney mag out of their pocket when they've run out of ammo trying to hit a couple of small plates, swinger, etc. Looks like I'll have to quit doing that.
  3. It says: Which basically states if you do not use belt ammo carriers, you may carry 2 mags, or 3 speed loaders, or three moon clips in your pockets. It does not say in addition to it says in lieu of. Regards, That means if you have ZERO mags on your belt, you can carry them in your pocket instead. It does not say that you cannot have extra mags in your pocket.
  4. The rule book says no more than 2 spare mags on the belt but it doesn't say you can't get your barney mag from your posket and use it in a COF if needed.
  5. Ahhh winter... It's Cold outside. Time to break out the good leather.
  6. Yep. At the fancy schmancy hotels, they put it on a motorized roll.
  7. I've been using the Metalform 9rd mags in my 9mm Springer for a couple years now and have had no issues. I'm hearing good things about the 10rd Wilson mags though. I've ordered one to play with but it hasn't arrived.
  8. I'll be bringin' my camera.
  9. I prefer Wolff. I believe that the Ed Brown springs are made by wolff. May be, but why "see how long this one lasts"? Replace every 5000 rounds as recommended and no worries. To be honest, I do not keep an exact record of rounds fired. When I say that I've replaced the spring twice in 10k rounds, I am estimating. It may be a few k more. I know that you keep very detailed records and I think that's great but I am not as organized. For me, it's like keeping track of how many nails have been hit with a specific hammer.

  11. Well, I replaced it last night. We'll see how long this one lasts. I'm working through a 5 pack of the 19lb EB springs but will try the ISMI next time.
  12. How often should a mainspring be replaced? I've had to replace mine twice in less than 10k rounds. This particular gun has an SVI ultralight hammer and tri-glide sear in it and I've been using 19lb Ed Brown mainsprings. Started having light strikes today and pulled the spring and it's a full 1/4" shorter than a new one. I have had other guns running the 19lb EB spring for many thousands of rounds and never had a single light strike. The only difference is the ultralight hammer. How long should this spring last? Thanks, Gary
  13. It sounds like you're beating yourself at this point. Do you think slowing down a little would help?

  19. You never know... With the downturn in the economy, the bullet makers may have no choice but to lower prices as demand drops off. People are holding on to their cash resources a lot tighter than they were 60 days ago.
  20. Thats BS I know I put minor. I wonder if I would've won if I was scored as minor. I dunno, I just noticed everyone was major PF and thought I should point that out. The only way to know if you were scored properly would be to look at your scoresheets or contact the match director from that match.
  21. 125gr moly on 3.5grs of Titegroup runs like a dream in my 9mm Singlestack and my G34. It's a little smoky but the accuracy is excellent.
  22. Very cool. I have a question though. How can a G17L (9mm?) be major PF in L10?
