  1. He is in town and made it out to our little fun shoot last night. It was very good to see him.
  2. I did not see a statue outside. There was all mounts of statues, photos, metals ect... inside.
  3. Yes I was. I surely thanked the folks that got me in and everyone there.
  4. Their website got hacked sometime back, I reckon they have not got a newone back up. As far as another place on the net to get them I don't know. Give them a call or email them I am sure they can fix you up.
  5. I was impressed woth the techwell. And how simple it is to put on. Buy the grips and the well and put it on. The grips have grooves milled in the and the techwell has ears the fit inside the grooves. You take the old grips off slip the well on and put the grips in place.
  6. With the longest legal base pad what is the most 45's you can get into a S_I mag? Just curious.
  7. I had the unique opportunity to tour the AMU custom gun shop this weekend. And their reloading shop. Boy they do some very cool work there. The reloading shop loads really just for the high power rifle stuff. They a room full of Dillon presses that get used to size brass. No kidding they single stage everything. The custom gun shop was very cool. A great deal of their work is for the national match and international type stuff. They do however build most of the action shooting stuff. Everyone there was super nice. I know they are a couple of AMU guys that are members here and I would like to pass along my thanks to them and they folks in the shops.
  8. Oh see when I shoot them indoor I am practicing my ninja shooting. I am using my minds eye. Really the bullets I have been shooting in my Glock are store bouht and I don't know what lube is used. BUT cheap bullets I have been using have dried up so I am going to be using something else or go back to casting my own.
  9. Cliff uses a Blade Tech. It is not listed but can be had.
  10. I used to use a lot of cast bullets and still use them but for the same reason I will not use them in big matches. I will still use them for fun shoots, smaller matches and practice. That said i will keep looking for a low smoke lube.
  11. If you are going to do the 450 to 550 conversion all at once youw ould be better off selling it and buying a 550. If you want to do it a little over time you would be better off. I have done that, all I have left now is the frame. The SD is really better for short cases anyway. The down side is you have to use their dies.
  12. Crap, that was one I was very pleased with the way I shot. Maybe that why the scores have not been posted yet.
  13. I got mine from Brownells because I get the dealer price with them but they are probably about as good a place as any. Nothing wrong with the plain black front I used them on both my guns but I like F/O.
  14. I have Heinie's on both my 24 and 35 I love them. I am using a Dawson F/O front. I plan on putting the straight 8's on my 17 for carry when the nights on it now die. They go in very easily.
  15. You will need a set of 308 Norma dies. You may could use some 300 Win mag or 300 Weatherby but if you have to buy buy the right thing. The 308 Norma is a very cool round. Won't really do anything the other 300 magnums won't do but not just everybody has one which makes it cool. What kind of action is it built on?

    Lone Wolf Barrels

I have been using one in my 24 for several months. It has over 4000 rounds through it. It is very accurate. I have a 9mm-40 conversion barrel that runs great and is also very accurate.
  17. "Life is a Highway" Tom Cochran.
  18. A thief is a thief is a thief! I hate them all!
  19. If you have the riser. I have told a few folks that were talking about getting one to get the revovler one just in case they ever wanted to shoot revolver or they may could sell the parts to recoup a little of their money.
  20. We have a couple of ranges in Georgia that has very sand soil. Enough of it will bugger Glock mags. Most other folk clean their mags everytime they hit the deck.
  21. If you have to you can reload with 20 round with Arredondo's. You really have to seat them hard but you can do it. Most times I reload with 19 just to be safe. "IF" the course works better to reload with 20 I will but usually it is not needed.
  22. Here is a Linky linky with video. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never seen that before. I will buy the first round if we ever meet.
  23. I have burned up about 3000 of them in my 3 Glocks, a 17, 35 and 24 with nary a hitch. I have 450 rounds loaded to take to NC sectional this weekend.
