  1. Notice the muzzle blast and the blast in the barrel to cylinder gap.
  2. John, please tell me about your gun? Others here know about it but I don't. It looks like a stainless 625 frame with a blued 25 barrel?
  3. Has the brass you were using been fired in a factory Glock barrel? The 1 failure to feed I have had with my LWD barrel was because the case had been fired in a factory Glcok barrel and I didn't get all of the "Glock bulge" out of it. Get a Lee or EGW undersize or "U" sizing die and see if that takes care of the problem. OR face off a standard shell holder so you size all the way down the brass to get rid of the bulge from being fired in an O/S Glock chamber. Basically what the rest of the guys here said. :-)
  4. What weight do you want? Magma Egineering makes a couple round nose bullet MOLDS for the 40/10mm. http://www.magmaengineering.com/bulletmolds.php?bm=40CAL10MM How big a bucket of WW's do you have? I went through about 40 gal last year.
  5. When I saw the phrase "concealed carry Redhawk" I was going to say Bill would approve. But then I realized that it would be much more appropriate to say Elmer would approve! Bless that man.
  6. That would be a hoot. At any big match. It would about be worth the money to donate one on my on just to see how folks would react.
  7. I have Hogues on most of my revolvers. I really like them and have for years. I tried the Miculek grips and didn't like them at all. The gun felt like it was going to squirt out the top of my hands. I have rubber and wood Hogues with finger grooves and one wood without finger grooves. Even the 19 I posted the picture of yesterday, it will have some Jordan troopers on it but when I shoot it a lot it will have Hogues.
  8. I noticed the other day they don't list the standard 4" gun any longer. I reckon that makes mine a collectors item. And "rare" on the auction sites. Look around you can probably find a used one or a NOS one.
  9. What's that funny looking thing on the back of the hammer? Thats the strap tp hold it in place while it is being moved around. I meant the funny metal protrusion that appears to hold the strap in place. Maybe you could hang your muffs on it too. Really this is a gun I just picked up last week. It is/was a brand new never fired model 19 still in the box with papers and tools. I am going to have some real Jordans made for it and it will be my tribute to the man himself. I have another just like it that I had to have rebuilt last year.
  10. AH, the hammer spur. They don't get in my way so I don't mess with them.

  12. No this would not handle the super hot Blackhawk loads. I have shot one of those Dustin Linebaugh made by the way. VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!!!!! Kinda like "Ruger only" 45 Colt loads. I have to think he used a different cylinder.
  13. OK now this has nothing to do with competition but one of the coolest 610's I have ever seen and/or shot belongs to "Doc" O'Meara the writer of some note about Colts mostly. It was a 5" gun from the first run. He had it rechambered to 38/40. That is a fine shooting sixgun. I am trying to add a picture of it from the day Doc and I meet and became friends. I have posted photos before but it won't work today so here is the link. http://s97.photobucket.com/albums/l217/vrm...ent=docs610.jpg
  14. Depends on what you are going to shoot. I prefer the 5" gun for USPSA/IPSC. I have and used a 4" gun for a little while but I got a 5" and never looked back. I also enjoy it for steel but you are at a disadvantage. You only have 6 shots and major loads are not required for steel. I shoot steel for USPSA practice so I shoot my major loads. I don't shoot IDPA but I know you have to use a 4" gun for that.
  15. Really? I had no idea. Oh well I guess I never looked around enough. Just surprised me.
  16. http://www.sani-soft.com/ I found this on their website. Look down and the legal crap (pun intended) at the bottom of the page.
  17. You know Francisco will keep this guys in line, Larry. Nemo, I don't like your son. Lcuky bum.
  18. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have not just paid too much but I have been looking at them hard. Not being a smart_ _ s just i got lucky and have not bought one yet. A 5" would be great but a 6 1/2 can be cut down. Now when will they hit the market? Waiting waiting waiting.
  19. I would love too but I don't know if I will be able to make it. I will toss it around.

    Glock 22

I don't have a 22 to test my load in but out of my 24 and 35 I make major plenty to spare 179 at NC sectional with my 24. I feel very sure it would make major in a 22. I have 6000 plus through my 24 with a LWD barrel. My 35 ( I just traded it off this week) had the factory barrel, it made 177. The load is 4.5 gr of titegroup with a 180gr bullet loaded to 1.120 OAL. Bullet set back can be a problem but a good taper crimp, and make sure your expander die does expand the case too much and you should be fine. Your tight chambered barrel helps a great deal. Glock factory barrel have a little less support over the case web but also their chambers are freaking HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
