I'm surprised there weren't more XDs.

The XD has a very high bore axis (like a Sig). It won't stop one from winning, it only makes it a tad tougher to do.

Glock has a lower bore axis. M&P is lower still (like a HK P9/P13 or a Steyr). And the trigger is excellent from the box with short reset. And the grip shape is adjustable.

Not surprised to see the rise of the M&P.
